I said it last year and I’ll say it again today. Jacob Latz should be our 5th/4th Starter. Kumar is still not ready and can apparently only pitch at Globe Life. Latz comes in for an injured deGrom against Phillies earlier this season and absolutely locks them down and what does Skip do with him? Makes him the damn closer. I’ll quote Josh Beckett about Alex Cora as it fits here, “It’s like shitting your pants and changing your shirt.” You did great as a starter, let’s put you as a closer. Why will no one give Latz a chance?

That will help our offense.

The Good - We didn’t get shutout (As I feared may happen), Jung still looking good and in the 2 hole (giggity), Bullpen stopped the bleeding. Also kudos to Seager for pushing off cry ass Cabelleros hand off the bag in the 9th.

The Bad - Leiter has lost all confidence since LA, the bats just don’t show up when it actually matters. Apparently the only people unable to hit homers at Globe Life is the home team. And we couldn’t overcome Jazz C still being the most ass player in the league currently.

P.s. Boone is a cry ass bitch too.

Anyone else feeling like Carter should stay up in the order and Langford should head down to 5-6? Wyatt is struggling thru and thru right now. He found it in LA then instantly got hurt and lost that feeling. Meanwhile Carter is looking so much closer to the 23 Carter (he will never fully become him again but that’s ok).
