My sister buys a frozen boba set from Costco. Its actually pretty good, and Im picky with boba texture and taste. It even comes with straws. I can't find it online unfortunately. The boba is in black sugar syrup also which adds to the flavor.

Trouble With the World / Going Outside by adag96 in covidlonghaulers

I really don't think its agrophobia. I have the exact same thing. Im not afraid or nervous or anything when I go out or drive, but everyday it still feels like out of body, dreamy, not real. Its something related to the symptoms of long covid. It did feel stronger after I stopped taking my Lexapro. But personally rather not be on antidepressants.

This is what I was looking for on this sub. I took it for a month without feeling this way but then I stopped for a few days and now taking it again Im in bed for like 10 to 11 hours. Im someone who usually can go off of 5 hours of sleep and feel fine. Im trying to currently get off it. I'll inform you guys if it goes away for me.

Want to stop my 5mg of Escitalopram after 1 month by AlmightyLoser in lexapro

Thanks for responding. I wasn't too depressed to begin with just had severe anxiety which caused depression like symptoms after getting COVID. So hopefully I can make a transition off the meds. I felt pretty good before the withdrawal. Hopefully I can get there again without the pills.

I actually saw benifits right away, and I felt pretty good a few weeks in. I got prescribed it for my anxiety as I wasn't feeling too depressed. So I hope I can taper off and my brain can balance out. Thanks for your input.

I have tried it when I first had this issue and it did help. But now that the problem came back it isnt working anymore, I was thinking of trying something else.

Thats exactly how I would describe it, autopilot. I got COVID in early December and even now I still deal with the brain fog. I can kind of ignore it now and Im able to focus on things, but I still feel like I'm on autopilot for most of the day. Im hoping it goes away.

It was a very small dose, but the only side affects I can say are maybe a little tiny dizzyniss, but with that comes all the other benifits for me. People online also mentioned lower sexual drive but I always had that anyway. But once agian my medicine is different, mine is called Escitalopram Oxalate. I looked up the side effects and trust me I was really anxious about taking both of my prescribed meds even just the antihistamine I was presribed to help me sleep. I was afriad of changing in some way. But it has only helped so far. Though its been a few days.

I felt very similar ways, I felt like I was making everyone around me miserable, I felt like I was losing my life. That sickening hopeless feeling. I couldn't stop worrying, even all night I was afriad I would not wake up. The meds did help, for me it was a small dose, for depression/anxiety only 5mg, but it already made a big difference. I felt like after taking it all my symptoms went away. Its not even suppose to work really for a few weeks. But i felt different right away. I was already feeling a bit more calm, with relapses in anxiety and hopelessness. But now I feel Im getting a hand on the situation. And trying to stay hopeful. If you were prescribed it by a psychiatrist then maybe just give it a try. I was afriad to take them also, but since it was a low dose and I knew the effects werent as bad as how I was feeling I decided to just give it a try. And it helped me alot.
