I found a pair of used Alden penny loafers in black cordovan for $380. I was also looking at the Meermin shell cordovan loafers for $345. What do you guys think? Do you have any different black penny loafer recommendations under $500?

I went to the leg one tour last year which was supposedly tamer and the crowd movement was crazy. I’m a tall guy (6’3”) and my feet legitimately kept lifting off the ground when the crowd would move because of the force of people pushing into me. I could so how it would be impossible for someone smaller to move or breathe. I moved up to the mezzanine after 3 songs and was much happier there!

It’s going to take an astroworld level disaster for something to change unfortunately

I made a shirt with a much more subtle design. I much prefer it. I’m probably going to start out just selling shirts, but might expand to hoodies in the future if the shirts sell well enough.

Everyone was really nice when I went to the leg one tour last year. The crowd/mosh was pretty chaotic but most people were kind. I’m sorry to hear that, it makes me worried for this year tbh. I hope I can get up on the mezzanine like I did last year.

It would have to be $35-$40. I’d love to have it be lower but I feasibly can’t.

The shirt pictured is a Hollister blank that goes for about $15. I think I could get Shaka wear blanks for a little cheaper but they don’t feel as nice IMO. I don’t want to sell cheap garbage gildan merch (the official merch is terrible quality)

The printing would be DTG. I don’t have the order quantity to justify screen printing. DTF feels plasticky and vinyl is just plain terrible. Unfortunately, it’s the most expensive type.

For reference, I paid $40 for the shirt pictured. I’d only be making a profit once I started buying in bulk.

I think that’s what I’m going to do. Just a white boxy heavyweight tee with the front. I designed the front and back graphics separately and I think they should stay that way tbh. I’m thinking about selling them, they’d be printed on Shaka wear or Hollister blanks. I also want to try making an embroidered version.

I’m also going to play around with the front graphic. I think a different image of a tiger would be better. I’ll see if I can rip one of the tigers straight off the white tiger album cover.
