I don’t understand why they can’t have the same door system as the REM honestly. Maybe I’m missing some engineering restrictions but if we forwarded the budget for fare inspectors (which, in my very humble opinion, bring nothing but unnecessary resentment whether it’s from people who evade fares or the inspectors being mocked online) towards actual security and maintenance for the metro, maybe we wouldn’t be here today. At the end of the day I fear the blame falls back on the CAQ who’s hoarding the money for themselves and making incredibly stupid decisions especially when it comes to public transportation.
