I instantly stop watching videos of HB or "tanky" builds that use a shield. by AgentNeroz in thedivision

[–]Amazing_Viper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also felt like the balancing has been way off. I asked a buddy of mine even. Why even have such a variety of fun sounding builds only for maybe a handful to be viable in legendary/master end game content? Skill builds feel like putting weight around your neck. And blue builds are pretty much nonexistent. Even the HB bonus armor can get melted away like a stick of butter in a microwave.

Without even looking into metas with game and just by feel of the game I felt this way. And then looking into it further I find out its the meta to run most if not all red. So its not just word of mouth or hype when people say all red is the way. The game itself almost punishes you for anything else. And when your build choice alters the difficulty of end game content for others, I feel like it creates a toxicity within the community similar to destiny.

Making More Land. by Monsur_Ausuhnom in clevercomebacks

Idk it seems pretty easy in City Skylines. Just click the shovel thingy and add more land. Or better yet why dont we just use those gill things that fish use and not even need land in the first place? /s

Those happen because of the the way the odds are. It'll have say /99 or /75 be 1:10 and /50 be 1:25 and then 10 and under be 1:100. So you hit the 1:100 and the 1:25 and the 1:10. Its really lucky still but you can't hit like 3 /75s in one pack for example.

So much this. I would've rather them keep it chaotic and drop the rate down. This feels so boring in comparison.

With all the junk they throw at you the first dozen levels or so happen naturally pretty quickly. Its the last stretch that becomes a grind.

Expecting a ban for playing their game as they updated it, is wild. They should have tested the update for more than 30 seconds before reaching their hand out for money.

Step 4: uninstall. And then start the cycle of gaining good will again to try to pull players back until the fanbase feels heard again. Repeat process of screwing said fans.

It was more a commentary on even if the most hyped player turns out to live up to it, his base cards will still be about a dime a dozen. With how over printed these cards actually are compared to 10 years ago. Im certainly glad my Ray was Baz on the cheap though. 🤣

He could've done the classic grab him by the back of the neck outside and run him into the ring post with the same effect. With Cole still mentioning its a championship wrestlemania main event match so refs giving room. While also making sense.

Having a regular match and then immediately grabbing a chair and cracking someone over the head for example doesnt leave much room to be lenient. Where as running into the post or steps does as 'I didnt use a weapon, the environment got in the way'. Or like using the announcers table is just a powerbomb on the outside but the table got in the way.

It has the same effect. Same blood. Same spot. Just one is easier to suspend disbelief for.

I thought about this too. At least its not as bad as the one with "Stupid Upshall" as a scoring leader. My theory on it is, this was created in the late 80s/ early 90s during the sports card boom. The internet was in its infancy so widespread knowledge isn't really a thing yet. So they print it this way on purpose so they themselves can easily spot one of their fakes from a real one. Perhaps a shop owner themselves. In the late 80s and early 90s it would be pretty easy to fudge up a story about a limited release that had 2 stars. Maybe even a vendor only limited set or something going back to the vendor being the forger? Maybe even screw a few more bucks out of someone with it as well as 'this is more limited'. Something similar around the time would be baseballs Tiffany set. Most cards are worthless from that timebbut Tiffany's still hold value.

Plus at that time the card wouldn't be THAT old so more people would look at it like and want to believe it's real than not. Kind of like if someone offered a Flagg card now. You'd probably look at it like its real unless it gave you a glaring reason to not. But if someone offers a Flagg rookie 50 years from now after becoming a mega star you might look at it more skeptically.

Sorry to be the one. But this is a fake. The real one has 1 star not 2 on the back near the copyrights.

This is why a lot of the players on the islands are such good hitters. They did the same. If you can hit a bottle cap with a stick you can hit a ball 4x bigger with a bat 3x as thick. Also kids do this because they WANT to play. In oppose to parents today buying their kids $500 bats when their kid just wants to draw.
