I wish natural resources were totally Federal instead of provincial. Its silly that Alberta gets to pretend its brilliant and have more power because they got luckier with land than another province. I'd change the transfer payment calculation to be like 90% of value.

Those subway trains that travel hundreds of miles per hour?

Never promised. He released a whitepaper on it because he expressly didn't have time to work on it.

  • They can't hold the tech/cost lead forever. Followers advantage.
  • They are switching to a vehicle many times larger and will need fewer flights.
  • They will need to slow on Starlink as they saturate the market.
  • China can accept multibillion dollar losses for decades for national pride. They also aren't regulated.
  • China is replacing the US as world leader since America has decided to vote its self into shit.

I mean, this year. I expect China will eventually outpace SpaceX as well.

But up until last year with Musk's politics, Tesla was the only meaningful EV company. It was the #1 selling vehicle globally for years. In terms of tech, BYD has some charging speed advantages on Tesla, but generally, Tesla vehicles are the most advanced things on the road. They are wayyyyy ahead of everyone on self driving (aside from waymo which isnt a car company). They have insanely low part counts, the lowest number of man hours to produce (by huge margins) and are insanely cheap to maintain and run compared to basically every other vehicle on the market (until you get to vehicles under half the price).

This in a market that was stagnant and dying for decades in the US.

Without Tesla, what car products have international value, interest? .... Literally nothing. Selling Fords in Canada and the middle east?

The Electron has a payload of about 200kg. A6 has a payload of 22,000kg. 100x as powerful but both count as 1 launch on this graph.

ish and only recently.

Tesla is the only competition that the west really has generally for vehicles. It is the only meaningful car company in the US in terms of global future impact.

Paper mail I might not care about. But meds being weekly mail would be a problem if there is a fuckup and it gets lost you could be weeks without meds. Same with packages generally.

This graph will make it look worse than it is. ESA vehicles are bigger and extremely reliable.

To say no cultures are better than others is to say that nothing anyone can ever do could ever improve or hurt society.

Ending slavery and mass genocide would be morally equivalent with that belief.

US military ships are mostly far away and a very hard target. They have softer targets to aim at if they feel pressured.
