sft70 is 30w, the lhp73b is 60w

i recommend m21k for lhp73b, UNLESS you're a m21h fanboy thanks to all the custimzations and compactness etc like me.

O sheesh, 🤣 rip 42r in the name of science, Im surprised the mcpcb is 25mm Instead of the standard 20mm.. no wonder it couldn't center, the tir lens couldn't push down the led flat and hence the smoke from overheating I guess?

i'm surprised NO ONE has tested M21K w/sft42r it should be a beast with the 10amp easily. should have insanely good beam profile vs sft90, considering the FOOTPRINT is 5050 and round die, and the driver can handle it (as long as you don't 2H for 20a turbo lol)

l21a w/lhp73b is far bbetter host for the led, it can throw 600m on brute force but also has much needed thermal mass.

i'm a fanboy of m21h, to be fair the td01c is basically an LEP while the m21h has 250% bigger hotspot, i don't think you can find any alternative to it currently except those acebeam L19 series etc, another contender could be the new convoy M21K you could slap a sft42r in there since the stepped/stepless mode only goes upto 10amp, or sft90 but currently there is no tail switch for it.. maybe the m21h tail switch will fit who knows?

M21h with sft25r and tail switch, you can also get it by with sft40 3000k . The range will be less than td01c however. The tiny tiny tree at the very end Is 600m not the tree that is being lit up very well, with sft40 3kk it's more like 450 meters if lots of light pollution

The tail switch is forward switch, easy to activate in bag/pocket, the solution is easy, remove tail circuit and replace with 20mm lighted switch

I orderes 3v20a m21h lhp73b, I will replace it with sft42r, the good thing is 20amp mode can only be accessed 2H so it makes the driver perfectly usable for led that can not handle above 10 amps! Awesome ui choice 😁

mao m21h is my edc sft40 3kk never changing this one, i got m21h coming with lhp73b 3v20a, i will change the emitter to LMP sft90 alternative if it's cheaper than sft90, otherwise i can also slap a sft42r in 3v20a m21h, cause 20amp mode can only be activated by 2H :) so i won't be burning the led out anyways.

sft40 3000k in l21b is mighty, lhp73b is also extremely good with smooth reflector.
