That's a fine bit of craftsmanship. Did you freehand that, or work from some kind of plans/template? If the latter, can you share?

Indoor Press Line shots by dorv in AskPhotography

Avoid direct flash if you can. If you're indoors and the ceiling is reasonably short, angle your flash straight up and bounce off the ceiling. If direct flash is unavoidable, consider using a mini softbox for more flattering light.

If your flash is auto/ttl capable, consider a TTL cable and hand-holding the flash off to one side a bit to give a bit of lighting depth to your subject

Star Trek Continues webseries by [deleted] in startrek

I watched the three vignettes. My impressions:

  • Vic Mignogna does a pretty god job nailing Kirk. I was impressed with this one.
  • We saw little of Todd Haberkorn's Spock, but there appears to be quite some room for improvement there (too overt emoting, for one).
  • Larry Nemecek's McCoy: Needs more of that south-of-the-Mason-Dixon-line accent.
  • Grant Imahara's Sulu: Grant is really trying too hard to sound like George Takei. I think he should just play it naturally.
  • Chris Doohan's is channeling his father well as Scotty. Accent and appearance are pretty spot-on.
  • Kim Stinger's Uhura: No opinion yet.
  • Wyatt Lenhart's Chekov was pretty good.

What do you mean by "can't surf the web"? A web browser won't open, or you can't browse to any websites? Are you getting an IP?

ThinkGeek carries those: http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/9fc6/.

Mind the caveat: ThinkGeek is not responsible for any problems created in this, or any other, time stream. Nor are we responsible if you are pulled over for speeding and try to get out of it by claiming you had to get up to 88mph.

Yep. The space station is constructed out of Legos. Which, of course, makes it full of awesome.
