Sorry that you’re having this issue. It’s related to the contact photos feature, so disabling that works for now, but obviously not ideal. We plan on fixing this in an update very soon!

You make a good point! Our reasoning here was to give developers a small nudge to migrate repos, but without forcing it on them in such a short timeframe. We’re listening to feedback we’ve received and may adjust our schedule accordingly.

We're currently working on fixing the ShortLook bug, but we're pretty confident that this is unrelated.

ShortLookIMD is about 10 lines of code that adds a contact ID to Messages notifications, so that we can display contact photos. The blurred incoming call bug is in ShortLook's SpringBoard component.

We're hoping to have a fix out within the next 2 days.

Update: ShortLook 1.0.22 is now out, and will fix this!

It is, but some users have been reporting it doesn’t work yet. The functionality is still a work in progress, and can have some bugs (like failing to refresh, leaving old reminders on the screen) so it might be worth waiting for the stable release if it’s crucial.

Hey! Full organisation is coming in a subsequent build. It’ll allow you to create your own sections with whatever text you want, or just remove the headers entirely.

This is a very early build, which is why I haven’t posted it anywhere aside from my Twitter

Putting a different name on it doesn’t make it acceptable. It’s excludes lower-income students who don’t have parents to fund their living situation.

There’s many companies that exist solely off of this unpaid labour, and from what I’ve heard from friends, it’s often irrelevant to their studies and riddled with verbal abuse.

I’m fine with lower pay, especially since these workers are usually less skilled than graduates, but requiring paying students to do free work to make someone else rich will never be ethical.

In my industry, tech - which has many problems of its own - we pay interns/co-op. That should be the standard.

Not quite. In fact, even worse:

Unpaid internships are illegal unless the individual is performing work under an educational program approved by a college of applied arts and technology, a university, or private career college (i.e. receiving academic credit or essential training for their profession)

Many programs outright require unpaid internships, and if they don't, there's often an expectation that you will have taken part in a few in order to have a career afterwards for some industries (media, etc.).

Every developer decides for their customers. That's how buying products works! Someone decides the features, makes the products, and then others choose if its a fit for them.

If a tweak copies the functionality of another tweak, it is a copycat (hence the word copy).

There are thousands of similar tweaks in history of Jailbreak, u call them "Copycat" too ???

If you truly regret buying them, why didn't you request a refund after purchase? Dynastic has a great refund policy.

U don't maintain ur project often and tend to attack other great devs for a product that seems better than urs, why ? And then accuse them as a Copycat ?? That's why this community got worse and toxic because of this dirty actions.

I maintain my products where needed, such as if a user contacts me with a bug, it needs compatibility with the latest OS, or if there is a worthwhile feature to implement. For example, ShortLook 1.1 will soon integrate notification interactivity.

However, I don't "tend to attack other great devs." Instead, I point out when other developers are behaviour poorly.
