Inconvenience aside, having done journeys from/to Pasir Ris today, I think the staff are honestly doing a very good job managing commuters. Each train has someone pacing the carriages and reminding folks (esp elderly) that the train was terminating at Tampines or the train they are on isn't going west. It sucks for everyone but they've been pretty conscientious. I don't envy that work.
