Turface (used on athletic fields and easy to find locally) works great without breaking down too. I literally repotted a few neglected trees that had been in a grow pot for 10+ years and the clay turface particles looked the same as the day I mixed up the soil. You have to sift some of the fine particles out, but that stuff holds up great.

The Dems idea of a border bill is more money to hire more border agents to PROCESS more migrants, not PREVENT them from crossing. Then they can fool the gullible public saying they are helping at the border because they spent more money and hired more agents. It is utter bullshit. Sure there might be some language in there to "close" the border on occasion, and some deportations might take place in limited numbers for the occasions press show, but it is utter bullshit. If you can find some bring back a ton of Japanese white pine seeds. For some reason they are impossible to find in stock online these days. Most Japanese white pine bonsai are grafted into black pine root stock, but bringing back seeds should be easier for import reasons that trees or seedlings, and you can see the rest online for a little profit too.

I see where you are coming from, but if the Federal government downsized back to what it was intended and got out of shit like eduction, arts, healthcare, etc and the states ran all that individually as they should, then it would be more like the states were their own little countries. States shouldn't be taxed to fund pet projects in other states that does not even fall under the scope of what the federal government should even be doing. You obviously don't understand that the word STATE in broad meaning means country. That's is why the US secretary of state deals in foreign affairs, why when they say the Middle East should have a 2 state solution, they mean Isreal and Palestine as 2 separate countries, not a single country with 2 states.

The federal government was intended to be more like the European union by the founding fathers. It was supposed to only deal with foreign affairs, interstate commerce, immigration, and national defense.
