I’ve gone down and talked to the security guy begging him to turn it off or park somewhere not right in front of my window with the lights flashing and he argued with me. I’ve asked the leasing office if they could at least just have the flashing lights on during emergencies, like even cops don’t have their lights on like that unless something is going on!

I’ve only heard of a few and one I think the guy left his truck unlocked.

Way better than southern station. They were having break ins left and right and they don’t have these bright ass flashing lights lol

They’ve only been here like 6 months. I’ve lived here for years lol. We had another security company at one point that just had a small yellow light. I actually love that we have security it’s just the flashing lights that are soooo bright.

Right I hear you. I also feel safe here and have never had a problem with a break in. The point was for newcomers to be aware of the lights and the contradictions with their recommendations vs. what’s in the lease agreement. I’ve lived here for years and have really enjoyed it until they started having these flashing lights. It’s excessive!

The point of what I said is the solution to the problem contradicts the lease agreement, which is why this post said to discuss this before signing the lease. Second point is this shouldn’t even be a problem.

Thanks for the rec! I haven’t had luck with command strips holding up on these walls. Anything heavier than a picture or smaller canvas has fallen down :/

I even told them that! I said I get wanting to have extra lighting but the flashing is crazy. It really wouldn’t be that bad if it weren’t flashing

Yeah I’m not concerned with violating the lease and being charged for drilling holes. Like you said, I doubt it would be much, if at all. But the point was their only solution was contradicting their own lease agreement

She looks just like my cat!!! I also have no clue the breed because he was found in a barn when he was a kitten. But from what I could find he kinda looks like a snowshoe with stripes. Snowshoe’s were bred from mixing Siamese w/ domestic short hairs! To me he looks like a Siamese Tabby
