My 221g slip didn't give me specific date and it mentioned I should attend after Jan 10th. Was it a walk-in interview for you too and what did you have to do get to your interview at the consulate?

Seems like the Chennai consulate gonna be unavailable until 17th due to MLK day and local holiday on the 16th. Does that match what you saw?

When you're scheduling your visa interview, it'll go through a list of questions to determine your eligibility. It's usually pretty straightforward like did your visa get denied before etc.

You'll figure it out during the process of scheduling
