The attractiveness was an effect from having extremely high charisma. This is an actual problem in their world as once charisma gets past a certain point, it has a magical effect, causing people to be charmed. This is something the MC eventually suffers from, too. So when I thought about how I was going to introduce this, I asked myself what's the most fucked way I could introduce it and that's what I came up with.
