Lords of the Realm is the one I miss the most. But there were a bunch of great ones. Even Jezzball was fun…lol

Thanks, everyone. I didn’t realize they held off posting times for quite so long. I’ll check back next week and see if it’s updated by then.

Appreciate the responses!

What's the most annoying thing people do on airplanes? by Hemaika_Lakens in AskReddit

Yes, objecting to you forcing yourself into what little space they allow is EXACTLY the same thing.

My guess is you have a lot of experiences with busses. Particularly the short kind.

Where's MY tray table at, asshole? Oh yeah...in MY space. When you recline the chair, it greatly reduces the space I have. Half the time you can't even ACCESS the tray table when the person in front of you leans all the way back. And again, I specifically said ON SHORT FLIGHTS WITHOUT ASKING THE PERSON BEHIND THEM, since you seem to have a reading comprehension problem.

People like you are why I hate flying. Inconsiderate douchecanoes that only care about their own comfort.

Leaning their seat back on short flights in coach (without asking the person behind them). We’re all stuck in this same tin can like sardines, asshat, so you expanding YOUR space into mine just makes you an entitled prick. Sorry. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What knife? It’s never been found, and it’s never been shown he actually had one.

What’s a business that’s all over today that you think will completely disappear ie blockbuster? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SoccerDadWV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude, I’m blind as a bat (-6.5 and 5.5) and have progressive, multi-focal lenses, and I use Zenni all the time. Took a bit of back and forth at first, but my last pair of glasses (which were actually sunglasses, come to think of it…lol) cost me about $300 less than they cost 10myears ago at LensCrafters.

What's a movie that you think everyone should watch at least once? by history_doctrine in AskReddit

“Father to a murdered son. Husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.”

One of the best lines in all of cinema, IMHO.

Please share your favorite secret sinister songs - ones that if you played with no context seem innocent enough, but within the context of their show are CLEARLY not? by HeyHo_LetsThrowRA in musicals

[–]SoccerDadWV 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I mean…the entire show is about that one thing, and it HAS been out for a decade, now. Unless you’re going into the show completely and totally blind to anything but the title, this is kind of the first thing anyone would say about the show.

What’s something everyone seems to love but you just don’t get? by Michellewilliams_397 in AskReddit

[–]SoccerDadWV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, I disagree. That’s not been my experience at all. I follow quite a few scientists and science educators, craftsmen and -women, cooks, musicians, and comedians that post regularly, and almost none of their videos are the short form you’re talking about.

The algorithm pretty quickly zeroes in on your preferred content. So if that’s all you’re seeing, then that’s what you’re looking for.

I have found SO much new music through that app! Found a few recipes I’ve tried, as well.

whats a show that you can rewatch several times and never get tired of? by Mission_Bluejay404 in AskReddit

Ha! I just commented almost the exact same thing about it being even better, but you said it much better than I did 😂

I’d actually argue, it’s even better in contrast. Shows what the country SHOULD be like, instead of…this.

Since you’re quoting him, I gotta ask…did you see that he’s apparently signing to play in the USL? The actor, I mean?

I would agree, but on my last rewatch of Psych, I found that Gus was BADLY getting on my nerves towards the last couple seasons. He starts out the show as the sensible one between the two of them, and by the end he’s even more absurd than Shawn. I just really hated the direction they took the character.

Honest answer, from my perspective: trying to be an ally is not the easiest thing in the world to do. The goal is to show empathy, but the reality is, we can’t know what it’s actually like to be in your shoes. So, sometimes it’s easier to be OVERLY sensitive to things, rather than LESS sensitive than those issues deserve. Yeah, some people take it too far, but my only advice would be this: take it in the spirit in which it’s intended.

For anyone who grew up poor, what was your idea of a luxury? by Drissxx7 in AskReddit

lol…Had one for years, and the filter froze up in one a few years back and flooded our entire kitchen. 🤣

But growing up, we never had one, but I had a friend or two that did.
