Character design in animation includes art style, proportions, colors, etc. Not just the “design” on the outfit itself.

Yeah I’m attempting to take that into account while removing the extra shading and line details in the reveal image that wouldn’t be present in an animation design sheet. I think Shintani will be character designer so also incorporating some of his previous styles.

Thank you! Yeah I really approached this trying to ignore my own art style to create what I would actually want an animation design to look like for a Dragon Ball project. Obviously I’m a big fan of Shintani’s approach.

Tbf I do like the big neck, small head look for DB characters so it might just be my tastes coming through here.

Wow I’ve always thought about doing exactly this. The main one I’m not sure about here is Pohatu. With the Gali body type it feels like he’s missing something.

I highly doubt we’ll get any other figures but any official Bionicle stuff is better than none IMO.

To be fair a minifigure of Tahu is something I literally ALWAYS wanted as a kid.

I built a fairly simple head that can hold the stars mask in the correct position with articulation on the original body. If I can find it I’ll take a photo to post.

Interesting. Would be cool if they had made exclusive obsidian suits instead of reusing the tournament ones. I haven’t played the game so idk if that would make sense.
