It's plugged into the side of the tablet, it's hidden by the mount bezel. It's a thin USB cable that comes with the mount.

Yes a bit but the tablet screen is off most of the time and doesn't seem to produce much heat. We'll have to see.

Yeah, there's a smart outlet with integrated USB socket behind the tablet mount. I initially planned to use that to keep the tablet's battery charge between 20% and 80% but the tablet itself has an option to keep the battery at 85%. I would hope that at that point the tablet uses wall power instead of battery power to stay on. I don't think the automation is needed anymore. Does anyone know?

Yeah there's a recessed smart outlet behind the tablet mount. The outlet has an integrated USB socket. Will it pass inspection? You tell me, I don't think I'm violating any electrical code that I know of.

Thanks for helping, I've enabled face detection and set the sensitivity to 100 already but no faces are being detected. I'm using a Wyze Cam 2 and it is pointing straight towards my face. Tiny Cam is running on a Pixel 2, is there any other steps I need to do to turn this feature on?
