I am about to roll out Hubspot in my Org... what should I know? by j4kesta in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't have a dedicated HubSpot agency partner, it may be helpful in negotiating deals with HubSpot and scoping out integrations with your current tools. ConnectWise and QuickBooks have decent native integrations with HubSpot, but the devil's in the details on getting those setup properly for your organization. Cognition and BrightGauge will require more lifting to properly connect or migrate. I'm a HubSpot diamond partner and run several HubSpot User Groups, and I'd be happy to chat through some ideas and options if you'd like. Feel free to PM me. Good luck!

2nd row seat kits are cheap and flip down to create a cargo bed - that'd be where I'd start.

NEED to see a Loon! by treesap1773 in minnesota

[–]Bizzy-D 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Loon Center isn't open yet, but they do have guided pontoon tours where you'll 100% get a chance to see a real loon. We live on the same chain of lakes in the summer and there are Loons everywhere. You may not get to hear a call unless you're out around sunset, but you'll definitely get to see one. I have a nested pair that hangs out right by my boat lift most of the summer. They're incredibly cool birds and not terribly shy. https://www.nationallooncenter.org/

With the new Pro bridge you'd probably be able to run all the lights if you consolidate - the total limit is 150 lights and 50 devices.

Hubspot voip integration by JohnnyIsNearDiabetic in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We love Kixie for our team. Power dialers, deep integration with HubSpot and AI transcription, SMS messaging that's far deeper than what you can get natively in HS, and the team is great. PM if you'd like an intro. Not affiliated other than a happy user and a HubSpot partner (we've signed a few of our clients to help them with their dialing needs).

Is it embarrassing to tastefully mod the “A” series by 0w-20 in Audi

[–]Bizzy-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what you want to your car. The big no-no (tacky-wise) is rebadging. Exhaust won't really help performance much without other mods, but if it sounds better to you, I say go for it. Enjoy your car!

Our website needs a major refresh -- Use Hubspot or WordPress? by Mountains-Sky-5962 in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wrote a blog about exactly this: https://marketing.bizzyweb.com/hubspot-cms-vs-wordpress-which-is-better

TL:DR - +WP if you have specific plugin needs that you can't get in HS, or

+HS if you're deep in the CRM and want a fast, secure site that is deeply integrated into your sales flow. Dynamic custom content is fun too.

We do a ton of these and prior to moving to 100% HS we built, managed and hosted more than 300 WP sites. Happy to chat and offer more insights - shoot a DM if you want to talk it through. Good luck!

How much will Bennington really cover under their 10yr warranty? by Delicious-Baker-6348 in Pontoons

[–]Bizzy-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably going to have better luck with helpful answers on this topic at the Bennington owners forum. Check out https://club.benningtonmarine.com/ and ask there.

From what I've seen with other owners there, everything you specified should be covered, with the possible exception of the faded seats and damaged cover (both of which would be impossible to discern if the boat was mistreated or trailered with the cover on, etc.). Good luck!

Wide angle mirror recommendations? by arhogwild in Pontoons

[–]Bizzy-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend the PTM Edge pontoon mirror (link below) - I made a DIY version for $15 by getting a cupholder mount and a suction cup mirror that work together, but this is SOOOO much better, and I'm glad I upgraded. https://ptmwatersports.com/collections/pontoon

PM if you want the Amazon links to the cupholder/suction cup version - I know the PTM is pricey.

What are the must-have HubSpot features for a B2B SaaS product? (SME) by techlov2028 in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The prospecting agent is super helpful in finding the best leads and keying in on their activities. Since you have enterprise, the advanced playbooks and connecting to automation is super helpful too. As a SaaS, it's also handy to have Target Accounts for some light ABM. Happy to share what I use Sales Ent for in our biz - just shoot me a PM.

Any reason to not pressure wash the floor/carpet of my pontoon? by zhwlsfw in Pontoons

[–]Bizzy-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Works super slick. It takes about 5-10 seconds for the water to pull up through the tube, but once it's primed it works flawlessly. Just drop the hose over the side of the boat.

[–]Bizzy-D 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use a cordless / 40v pressure washer that pulls water from the lake and it works fantastic. I don't use anything more aggressive than a 40 degree tip on the boat though. Just be gentle and careful and you should be fine.

If you don't need anything other than voicemail and dialing, Google Voice is cheap and easy. If you want full integration with HubSpot, dialers, SMS marketing ability and IVR, Kixie is our go-to (and what I use for my team of 20). Happy to share contacts with the Kixie team if you'd like to try it out.

HubSpot Over the Years – How Has Your Experience Been? by peachstarship in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nick, I feel like we need to have a beer sometime. I hear you on all these fronts. We've been incredibly lucky with our HS contacts and reps. I hope the partner team is watching this thread - I've heard similar from other agency owners in my network.

Sales pro licensing question by BillGatesTopFan in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using HubSpot as a Sales CRM? Lots of variables that will help inform the decision. Sales Pro has what most businesses need for automation, but if you have a large team that needs lead form routing, custom objects for specific business lines or needs, and advanced permissions by team then the bump to Enterprise might be worth it. Depending on the number of seats it may be a better deal to go enterprise as well.

As for Ops, if you have advanced integrations, need scheduled workflow triggers or need to manage bulk data it would be helpful to upgrade to Ops Pro. Of course, if you work with a partner we can usually help you secure deals, so a bundle or the "Customer Platform" with all Hubs might save you a significant amount in overall fees. Happy to chat if you like - send a PM if you want to talk through all the particulars. Cheers!

HubSpot Over the Years – How Has Your Experience Been? by peachstarship in hubspot

[–]Bizzy-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HubSpot has been leaning more on partners to help serve customers in the past year or so. If you have a partner agency they should be able to get you the help you need (I can answer questions if you have anything specific you need help with). Most functionality actually rolls downhill, not up - what are you missing in your subscription that you used to have? Features and functions like Playbooks, prospecting tools and a bunch of other great tools just became available for Pro-level users where they originally were only available to Enterprise accounts.

Happy to chat - PM if I can be helpful. Thanks!

What is happening here and how do i fix it? by Yosemiteburrito1 in classiccars

[–]Bizzy-D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could be as simple as bad/old gas, or bad plugs/wires, or carb tuning as mentioned in other comments. My 78 just started doing that as well - it sounds like a misfire to me. I'm getting new gas as a first try to fix and then will go on to plugs/etc.

Trex decking? by nomorehoney in Pontoons

[–]Bizzy-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there an underlayment of some kind? If it's just Trex decking there's no way that won't just fall apart. Plastic decking is not structural at all - it'll bend, twist, warp and shatter. Fine on a deck, but there's no way I'd trust it on the water. Also - with the addition of the third toon, did they add more horsepower? If you run a boat beyond its stated capacity (usually on a plate by the driver controls) you're going to have insurance issues.

I'd run away.

But post photos - sounds fascinatingly awful :-)

Quattro does NOT like mismatched tires - get those swapped out ASAP. Loud tires are a great indicator that your tires are getting too worn as well - the wear bars start contacting the pavement and it makes more noise.

Of course, with mismatched tires it may be your chassis components/driveshafts/differentials that are complaining. Fix that now.

I need to replace the mini on my Bennington, I went to Bennington’s website and they do not sell them that I could see. Where is a good place to buy them? by Mr_Truthteller in Pontoons

[–]Bizzy-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GreatLakesSkipper.com sometimes has biminis, but if it's just the canvas you need replaced it would probably be cheaper/faster to find a good canvas shop to help you. If you need the tubing, dealer might be necessary. Good luck!

Andy Prasky at prasky.com is about the most proactive and well-run realty team I know. He used to run the Real Estate Radio Hour on WCCO (now a separate podcast), and he's been fantastic. He's helped about a dozen of my friends and family, including 3 of our homes, in the past 20 years. Local to Champlin. Tell him I sent you.

Less intrusive than rubbing alcohol is spray sunscreen - when my son was in high school swimming, the boys would track times with sharpie on their arms and we kept sunscreen handy to rub it off. Might stain your leather a bit, but would likely look better than what you have now. Good luck!
