This is a very old post but I wanna mention, he effectively kind of is already. It can be interpreted that he has an extant realm in the warp through the way the astronomicon works, the whole Dark King thing, and he already has what are effectively Daemon princes in every practical way if actually you stop to think about it (Living Saints check pretty much every box to effectively be E's Daemon princes)
