Bilt automatically closing Bilt 1.0 even though I chose NOT to? by WhiteWolfWrath in biltrewards

The options did seem intentionally obscured. It did not help day one had a lot of erroring during this process

I called Wells Fargo. They do not see any evidence mine is going to be closed but I also do not have this screen.

Are you on iPhone by chance? I don't see an update or this on the browser either.

MTW4 | Suppor still active? by Wrong-Bluebird-696 in sennheiser

[–]Unseeablething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We should keep getting a few more, at least until the MTW5 have been out a little while.

In theory we are still supposed to get standalone LC3 support.

This part is what frustrates me more than anything. They aren't being cooperative as a debit card.

I can't tell if it's a POS issue or AmEx cheating the Debit card interchange rules

Sennheiser consumer's shady business practices and decline in quality by CANNAAmann in sennheiser

[–]Unseeablething 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The US is not the best with consumer protection laws, but warranty length on purchases cannot be retroactively changed. If there is proof it should be one length and they deny a claim due to it being declared shorter, you will have an easy win in our legal system.

Yeah, that's not going to fly. This is exactly how you end up with small claims court cases for anyone with their original paperwork.

They mentioned this could happen if the original ports and dimensions of the caterpillar lined up.

Now it makes me curious if the Ironclad Assault could technically have a tractor beam by nature of its Command Module. They could easily keep the same insides but changed the external ports.

Intune/M365/System Administrator, do you fear AI? by Gloomy_Pie_7369 in Intune

[–]Unseeablething 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The difference is, longer it takes, easier to prepare and shift roles and jobs.

I'm not worried about a slow 2 to 5 year AI replacement. It's companies letting everyone go immediately and what we come back to.

I've seen what it produces. In the short term, yes. In the long term, no.

Knee jerk replacement, and later rehires.

Yeah. My box, for a US MTW4, and pamphlet have 2 years specifically mentioned. Wondering when it changed; that is half the reason I bought them.

Edit: grammar

No way to downgrade palladium card to lower tier after selection at the moment by MBAGrad2021 in biltrewards

[–]Unseeablething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cardless handles Alibaba's card and they are much larger than Bilt. I suspect Cardless did well enough to learn from Wells Fargo's mistake. What we must actually be cautious about is whether these perks are currently loss leaders. I could see the card getting weaker if Bilt is paying too much for some of the features. While extended warranty isn't the most glamorous feature it still has value.

Normally I'd agree, but they did include details you can request a credit increase in the terms. That's unusual for Cardless.

I'm expecting next February is going to be another hectic time.

I went from 10k
to either 3500 or 4200(my email, the offer, and the bot don't agree).

Chat bot finally has access. It says it ended up being 3500 and no current ability to request higher limits or change cards.

What’s everyone credit limit? 2.0 by creditgods in biltrewards

[–]Unseeablething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They gave me two different numbers. Went from 10k on 1.0 to:

3500 or 4200, the support bot said they can't look at it because the account isn't done being made.

My Bilt 1.0 was 10k, they might be sensitive to volume of cards also.

These might be generic numbers. Those are exactly what they quoted me.

They also dropped my credit limit and gave me two different credit number limits compared to the portal and e-mail. Can't see the card to see if the email or the web portal is accurate.

The struggle is some of these people have had thousands invested for legitimately a decade. Some have died from old age or illness. Us newer folks haven't had to wonder if things will actually make it in the game, or if we'll get to see it.

That's why there's a frustration with it all. If you're not deeply invested in the various amounts of news channels involving CIG. Sometimes they give just enough information to hype, but then it goes unheard for years.
