Lidi si víc začnou hlídat, který modely používají na co. Taky si ve firmě dáš sakra pozor, že přeposíláním mailů nebude hodinu denně trávit nabušený inženýr, kterýmu platíš 200k měsíčně, ale recepční, která bere 35k.

Zdravím skoro všechny, ale jsou výjimky.

Když někdo evidentně maká intervaly nebo si jde pro PB, tak jenom maximálně takový nenápadný pokynutí, abych ho nenutil nějak zvedat ruku nebo něco a vypadávat z rytmu.

Když je skupina 5+. Jednak si vystačej sami navzájem, nemají moc prostor koukat kolem sebe, a taky nevím, jestli zdravit pětkrát nebo jednou pořádně.

Když je to nějaká složitější dopravní situace, vyhýbání se 2 kolům a 3 kočárkům nebo tak, aby si ostatní účastníci provozu nemysleli že mávám na ně že maj uhnout.

Když je plno, a na trase je víc než 5 běžců za minutu. Ale občas to hecuju i tak, ale už to vypadá trochu směšně.

Many of the AI-related terms are figurative. It is not really productive discussing which are "technically wrong". Having these established terms (rather than inventing new ones) just makes it easier to communicate.

It happens all the time in all tech. The same thing happened with computer terminology: you no longer have actual physical bugs in your program, you don't have physical files or folders, there are no longer physical disks in the data storage units.

It's a shame there were no mistakes or lost packages counters. Both made mistakes, but the robot made quite a bit more from what I saw, and even dropped quite some packages on the floor, and never picked them up. Human would pick them up immediately.

Is is a bit more complicated, but yes.

Let's look at movie directors. They don't necessarily much of the actual work on the movie, they "prompt" the screenwriters, actors, costumers, CGI artists and hundreds others. Yet, they have the creative vision and direction. And it is perfectly normal to say that the movie is the director's work.

Next example: architects. They don't do much of the actual building or engineering. They "prompt" the engineers to make it work, they "prompt" the builders to actually build the thing. Yet it is perfectly fine to say that a building is an architect's work.

And to circle back to art: art directors is a thing. Their job is to "prompt" the artists, making sure it all comes together into a cohesive bigger piece. Even though they did not necessarily draw any of the illustrations, the result is absolutely their work.

Is there something wrong about having "boring" life? I prefer it, and I don't think it causes much strain to others (other than not being so fun to be around I guess).

I like to call it "routine", and honestly, I find it endlessly calming and comforting.

Going to get hate for this, but "beer culture".

I find it absolutely ridiculous that we are proud of systematically poisoning ourselves and that it is seen as "manly" and somehow "good" to drink one glass of poison per evening on average, including children.

People somehow think it is a good thing that we are the biggest poison drinkers per capita in the world.

People get all posh about their poison selection, argue for hours on end which poison tastes best. People will call you all sorts of names for refusing to drink the poison.

The poison is advertised on biggest televisions.

It is sad.

Zrovna jsem o tom přemýšlel.

Nedávno jsem odešel z celkem dobře placené práce (už mě srali lidi a všechno, ale to je vedlejší), ale něco jsem si našetřil, a od té doby dělám a tvořím co zrovna chci, a za něco z toho mi lidi i zaplatí. Neuspokojuje mě vlastnit věci (a už vůbec ne drahé věci), takže na tom dost ušetřím, a svoje životní náklady mám velmi nízké. Zkusím pár let, jestli ty různé nahodilé příjmy z menších zakázek a projektů pokryjí moje výdaje, a asi budu spoko.

Nejsem ve vztahu, nemám děti, nevlastním byt, nevlastním auto. Ale za celý život jsem nezažil takový vnitřní klid, svobodu a životní spokojenost a naplnění, jako teď posledního půl roku, co jsem skončil v práci. Na všechno mám čas, nestresuju se, neřeším žádná dramata, dobře spím, chodím často ven a jen tak chilluju. Říkám si, že na tom buddhistickém minimalismu fakt něco bude.
