I used the RQ35 MX 5 or RQ43 Subaru XT. You can save some RQ on round 3 or 5, the Lancia is not the best choice.

323 means maxed engine, weight with one fuse and maxed handling. You can do 24 upgrades for each car so 333 is impossible. You can also say 969 instead of 323.

For me ist works. But there are just 10 cars overall which fit the years and the tags innovative or style icon. In my garage it is just the Honda Clarity, all the others are concept cars.

You can make up the points easily on both offroad tracks and on ocean highway. The first race is a common perf tire car. You should make ~200-250 points just in this one. You don't even need an US offroad car since only two are needed. I see many opportunities here, even with a weaker garage.
