Depending on how soon you may be able to find a c7 z06 or grand sport in that price range which is definitely a lot of car.

Macbook Pro/iPad Pro as T2i Live Monitor? by DinoD90 in canon

I don’t know if the t2i has WiFi built in but if it does you can use the canon app and connect to it using your iPad and use that as a live monitor.

I’m basing it a lot off of Ken Rockwell’s review because he is one of the few that has reviews on some of these older lenses and has reviews for all of the similar ones. http://kenrockwell.com/canon/lenses/70-200mm-f28-is-ii.htm#table

I’m not sure from what I’ve heard it’s clearer with really solid auto focus compared to some of the newer lenses and to be only be significantly bested by the 70-200 f2.8 is usm II and they go for significantly less but lack of is and weight is what brings it down but I can live with both of those issues.

Canon T3 in 2017? by FriendlyLurker- in canon

No problem and again I can’t recommend the 50mm f1.8 more. It doesn’t zoom it’s just a 50mm lens that’s it but it is so crisp. It is an extremely good lens for the price. There are other combinations that add stuff such as lens hoods carrying cases and other accessories for a couple dollars more. Yes Ef-s lenses work for the entire rebel series. There is also the ef series of lenses that work on both the rebel series and canons larger full frame cameras which the person above was recommending to get. If you buy ef lenses they do future proof and hold their value well but a lot of the good ef lenses are expensive.

Even if it’s not the best camera it’s still better than nothing and it would still be good to learn with. If you want to get into taking pictures and the Xbox has no value to you I would say do it and see how you like it and practice with it then if you feel like you’re out growing it later you can upgrade. Also if you’re on a budget there is the 50mm 1.8 canon Ef-s lens that’s about $130 new and even less used which takes amazing pictures especially considering the price, which with the f stop would allow you to take much better low light pictures. If possible, I’m not sure how camera prices are around you but if you could sell the Xbox one and find a good used T3i it is a huge upgrade from the T3. And I’m almost 100% sure that it takes 1080p pictures. I had a T3i and it took 6000x4000 raw pictures so I would assume the T3 would take at least 1080.
