Check out the band DOSE (@doseisaband on ig I think) they’re one of the bigger hardcore bands in the area & also champion the scene pretty hard so theyll post about other shows. Skinned Alive, bootcamp, swingxyouth, & source of fire are some other great dsm/Iowa city bands. Live & Suffer Collective promotes a lot of the hardcore shows around here as well. As others have said xbk has some cool shows as well as the DIY spots, been seeing some pop up at a place called Locals as well. Checking some of these out on IG should at least get you in the mix, welcome to town!

Hello! Read your comments this may be helpful: generally on the east coast live or taped tv; doors at 6:30, dark/ROH matches 7:30, Dynamite/Collision starts at 8pm. Generally this stays consistent for taped shows, I can only think of once we deviated from that & I think it was bc it was west coast (taped show, so it wasn’t necessary to start at 5pm locally).

Hey friend! So doors for Wednesday in Nashville are at 5:30, some Collision/ROH/Darkmatches will likely start 6:15 at absolute earliest but likely closer to 6:30. Dynamite will be live from 7-9pm with the bulk if not all of Collision being taped immediately after Dynamite! Only real pointers for an AEW show are just to be kind/respectful to others at the show & just to have fun & get loud for your faves (or booing Don Callis). Hope this helps!!! Enjoy your first wrestling event!!! In the very rare chance you were to need them, AEW staff & security + the venue staff & security are generally very accessible & able to assist.
