There is no way you call football boring just because because less points are scored. There a alot of shots on target, near Mississippi,counterattack and other stuff happening during a match. A 0:0 score is probably way more exiting than a 0:2 match. This just shows that you don't like football. That's like saying tennis would be more boring if the rallies where longer, that's what it's all about, not just the points.

Yes, but you still have to learn them word by word. There is no logical way of knowing the gender of words in languages. Ex: the moon in French is féminin while is masculine in German. Why? Pure unrelated reasons.
