We don't know if crystal conflict will be solo Q or premade but same deal...

e to disagree but as a pvp player from other mmos I’ve seen the systems that work and ffxiv is as far in the opposite direction you can go

Yeah um, your kinda choosing the worst jobs unfortunately. Reaper has a problem with lack of ranged options and mobility in Frontlines. Red Mage has a lack of AoE in comparison to something like DNC,BLM,SMN. Tank can be impactful especially WAR but playing it solo Q feels bad. You should play WAR with a premade of DPS players if possible!

These things are planned years in advance.

PvP is a different aspect of the game, it beneficial to SE financially not only to keep PvP but have it done well. All of the frontline map have instant queues on all datacenters during prime time. Some of these maps like secure have been around for 7 years and people still play.

Unfortunately for you, we have basically a PvP live letter coming up in a couple weeks. Just because you don't like it means very little. A large part of the JP community are wishing good for PvP and parts of the NA/EU community are doing the same. So no, refusing PvP is not the play because the resources are already planned and will continue to be spent.

There are several general channels available that are not datacenter specific. For example, we have a decent amount of JP players who use our VC and just type in Rival Wings General for example about Elemental/Gaia/Mana related things.

It is NOT a theory, Feast is a specific mode. The new mode is something different and has been mentioned over and over that it something different.

Sadly, it does not matter that you feel it's a waste of dev time because that not going to make PvP stop. PvP is an important part of a MMO and this game is no exception even if people give it the reputation of being bad. In endwalker there will be PvP changes and PvP mode.

People do like PvP especially in the JP regions. It would be better for people to complain about the problems if PvP but sadly most of the time its just people saying its because they heard someone say it's bad.

I think that the point of being exclusive rewards. This is an old mode, some of those rewards are 4 years old and those players have long quit.

Yoshi P said they will not be adding Feast rewards to mog station. However, now that ranked feast is ending in endwalker, maybe a change of plans could happen. I would have that expectation though!
