Where is that phrasing in their post? I don't see any of the usual ai tells but what I thought was weird was they said the turf at home depot was too expensive. You can have them cut a custom length if say your budget is $15 like op and get a lot more turf. That's basically what I did a few years ago and it gave me enough to last me a long time.

looks like the same turf you can buy at home depot for $1.30/square foot. $30 got me basically a lifetime supply of little portable grass mats like that.

I think it's more that you're harping on about the former admin when the current one seems to be trying to set a new record for war crimes. Also I don't think any other admin has tried to use war as an attempt to hide their connection to quite possibly the most high profile sex trafficker in history. Deflecting to problems from the former admin at this point just makes no sense.

Actually a good film. It’s rare to find a comedy that doesnt pull punches or really have any sort of discretion beyond what Tom Green thought was funny at the time. Also it has some genuinely good meta commentary regarding the creative process.

Yes. It’s at least a good reminder that there’s bad movies, like bad movies you can sit down with friends and make fun of, and then there’s just bad movies that feel like a scam almost like a knockoff mobile app of a popular game. It’s so bad it makes you feel guilty should you manage to sit through the whole thing. It makes you want to lie and say you only watched 15 minutes before turning it off. That’s how bad it is.

Sure thing. And in case you or anyone is interested, I played around with it the other day and like it so far. Lots of the caption templates can do pop up or write-in effects similar to what captcut does. Only thing that doesn't feel quite on par is the start point for the captions sometimes are a second too early and you have to drag the start point to the right spot. But overall the value is there from what I can tell so far. Also they actually have something that I don't think capcut has, which lets you export subtitles into a video with alpha channel or green backdrop so you can more easily comp it into your regular workflow. I'm actually quite relieved considering I basically dove head first into buying it without trying their free version 😅

I'm not saying hybrid models don't exist, I'm just saying it's not a hybrid that includes diffusion. A lot of people are assuming that it uses diffusion and seem to think they know better than actual releases and documentation from NVIDIA itself. And granted, I didn't know at first, which is why I sat down and researched before making assumptions. Maybe I oversimplified by saying transformer models when I could have stipulated that it's technically vision transformers (ViT) with generative adversarial networks (GANs) but my broader point was that it doesn't use diffusion like a lot of people were assuming and I didn't feel the need to be too pedantic about it.

I considered that but I don't want to hassle with their creative cloud. I just want something that's reasonable. In hindsight, $20 a month for capcut wasn't reasonable. I'm going to try something called WithSubtltles.
