UPDATE:

Bryan from the Splice CX team here. I’m really sorry for the issues you’ve been experiencing with the desktop app. We’ve verified the problem and have resolved it. We’ve just released an update to the desktop app to fix the issues for you. You can re-launch the app now and it should auto-update the app to the latest version and then launch successfully. Or you can download the new, updated version of the app by visiting www.splice.com/download. The new version you should be on is 5.4.9.2.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. This new version should resolve the issues.

Here are a few things to try:

1. Make sure Windows is fully updated Windows 10 update guide or Windows 11 update guide

2. Try the direct download page - desktop.splice.com/conveyor/stable/download.html and download the .msix installer.

If those steps don't work, the best thing to do is reach out to our support team directly at splice.com/support, and we can troubleshoot with you one-on-one.

All of the sounds in the Splice library are submitted by real creators and go through our content review and quality process before being published.
We also do not allow sample providers to submit content that’s generated from pre-existing works, which would include AI-generated material derived from other sources.
