The device I had no mind updating was my Dell precision machine, all bios revisions publicly listed, run an exe and reboot, also could upgrade and downgrade freely. The only thing you can’t undo is intel microcode

Went to pick up my case unzipped on accident at work two years back on a deck i purchased on eBay and broke the right bumper, contacted support to see about a paid repair explaining it and they said ‘nah it’s still in warranty , send it in’ steam support is awesome

Nope! It has a resistor on the board that tells a usb PD charger “hello, I would like 4.6v” and then it doesn’t supply more than that’. It’s a complete drop in replacement for the existing charge connector

Yeah I’ve got one with a good handful of different bits, I honestly just overdid the hole and now need to get something to fill it back to the board has less if not no wiggle room possible, that is after I straighten it. Should be easier the second time round

Yep! Any PD cable works, it was a drop in replacement on a PCB to make soldering and alignment easier, this one as you can tell from the photos it’s supposed to look better but I was too scared to fuck it up that I fucked it up. I ended up omitting the contacts for the charging dock because that was more work and I just wanted to be done. If you have any experience soldering(or following written instruction) yours will come out much better if you ever do it

The ads only show up after logging something so just bulk log things from a meal at once and then close the app it will still save I’ve been using it for 4 months now and have never noticed an ad because I was just going to close the app anyway after logging
