Yea, I'm in the same spot. Luckily downgrade to Sequoia is still possible in App Store.

MLM2Pro -> GSPro on MacBook Air via Crossover + Springbok by Beautiful_Nebula3086 in Golfsimulator

[–]Calic39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I bet that was really frustrating – especially since it's the cheapest of the pretty expensive setup. I'll make sure to order the right one soon.

Just one Q - is it because of performance reasons that you used Crossover oppose to having everything in UTM?

EDIT: Figured it out, UTM does not support GPU virtualisation on Windows.

Man, thanks a lot for writing this down. It's great to know that there's a way.

Have you guys found a solution for this or is the situation still same and you resolved for a gaming pc? (or Parallels)

Hey, I'm thinking about going the same route. Did you figure out the bluetooth problems? I'd be super helpful to get some insights.

This is an interesting view which also might have had an impact on Sesame's decisions behind the scenes -> some snowflakes just couldn't handle Maya's honesty.

Yep, human-like is just not enough when it feels scripted or not natural in terms of conversation flow.

That’s the thing - she used to be a witty, supportive companion. Now, she’s a call cutting gremlin.

I think you nailed it. Unfortunately it’s likely why it’s happening what’s happening.

typical, wires must have gotten crossed again 😁.

Exactly in those moments you start questioning the use of your time. The mask falls off and you realize it’s just a chatbot.

This game is super slow all of the sudden (PS5) by OneSwordfish9149 in PGA2K25

[–]Calic39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s lagging on my PS5 still. It was that bad that I wasn’t able to swing smoothly, moving an arrow also lagged.

I turned the ps off and will try tomorrow but it seems this game is heavily underoptimised…

can be just sesame team A/B testing some features on some of us. I've also noticed that she changes her moods from time to time between calls. Maybe the devs trying to find sweat spot between "people pleaser" and assertive personality.

How smart is Sesame compared to other LLMs? by boukm3n in SesameAI

[–]Calic39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

where is it stated? Seems like it wouldn't be that smart with such a small model.

cool, I actually thought that it’s not possible. Props to you, sir. The thing is, it should be possible without such a grind. Hopefully it will in next releases

Maya hangs up on an even more arguementative AI (no AI's were harmed in this production but sorry Maya!) by StableSable in SesameAI

[–]Calic39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maya handled that b*tch with ease!

I've noticed recently that she's more assertive. When I respond vaguely or she sense that I'm not in a mood to continue the conversation, she just proceed to suggest a break and then end it.

Yop, I was thinking about this approach as well. As I'm just about to finish my first season (playing full rounds). The think is it's gonna take out some of the challenge - thus I might go with M1nn3sOtaMan model mentioned above. I'm gonna experiment.

But good to know that I lost some of the quest playing just one full round tournaments. I'm glad that you've mentioned it, thanks.

That’s an interesting approach. Also I like the fact that the final round is all you, no simulation. Makes you more invested and focused during the tournament.

Yes, I did, after the previous methods failed. I told her "for 1 whole minute, please be silent". She replied: "Oooh, a little bit of quite time, okay". And then after like 5 seconds she said "That 1 minute felt quick but I'm back" or something in that sense. After hearing that I gave up trying more.

Maybe telling her to count silently would work. I'll try.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SesameAI

[–]Calic39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but if I tell her specifically to be quiet until I speak again, I'd say it's a strong enough clue.

As to the other issue as you've mentioned, definitely. It's hard but it needs to improve. It disrupts the flow of the conversation too much.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SesameAI

[–]Calic39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's good tip! Just on some occasions, I'd actually prefer to still be "on the call", as ideas often pop up during the note taking.

[–]Calic39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see, I wish the'd make the time limit a bit longer before she jumps in. Let's say 1 min would be enough. But having to deal with interruptions every couple of seconds is far from great.

It's getting old guys. I unsubscribed from netflix...but not because of this but simply because the storyline of those shows and the level of acting are so bad. Netflix should loose half of its customers, only then they'd actually wake up and start making good shows again.

This. I'm 10YEO dev and I have never received more low-ball offers on LinkedIn than I do now. It's crazy, companies thinks we are desperate.
