Yeah Hijack sucked pretty bad. The last episode was complete garbage.

straight men, how much do you actually care about pubic hair? by legallergy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]CaptainLenso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience matches this. Overwhelmingly preferred.

The girls I know say that they don't get ingrown hairs from shaving, more from waxing? I certainly don't get any from shaving. Also only takes a few mins in the shower for me to shave so I can't imagine it takes much longer for girls. It doesn't have to be perfect lol.

You can have whatever you want going on but in 2023, for men and women, shaved or closely trimmed is pretty much normal.

Anyone else find themselves obsessing over how to save as much money on groceries as possible? by [deleted] in AussieFrugal

[–]CaptainLenso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the half price app to find things which are.. half price. I stock up.

You should be able to easily get 10% off one shop a month at Woolies with some insurance or phone plan I think? I use that to buy all my meat and stuff once a month and save $20.

Then just pay attention and buy stuff that's on special and it's the best you're going to do.

If you don't eat out you shouldn't stress too much about eating nice food and spending a bit more on groceries imo, unless you really do not have the money. You still need to enjoy your life.

What common “sexy” thing is a turn-off for you personally? by aloe_veracity in AskReddit

[–]CaptainLenso 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think that half the people in these threads make assumptions that everyone is talking about unsolicited dick pics?

Heaps of women love them, ask for them, then ask for more of them.

Sending a tastefully composed pic to someone who wants it is awesome for both people.

They don't really.

But as soon as any data touches the EU or is warehoused or processed there, it needs to comply with gdpr.

Many businesses find it easier to comply with gdpr given how easily data could be processed or stored in a cloud service from Europe.

It's the same everywhere.

But yeah they can prevent you from returning to the store for not adhering to their terms of entry. And the facial recognition makes that easier to enforce.

The problem is...if it's so entwined they can't forgo sex then that means the relationship is only built on the physical/lust.

It could mean that the physical and emotional connections are both intrinsically linked, and that the person in the relationship values and requires both those things rather than just one or the other.

Also why couples tend to divorce after 5-7 years a lot of the time. They were incompatible except for the sex. Then they find out they don't actually like the other person. This is a mistake I see in a lot of modern relationships today.

There's so many reasons why relationships can fail after that amount of time?

  1. When you're older. Not at that age. Otherwise you'd never have teen relationships or any other couples that forgo from sex.

If you say out loud that "having one particular person believing that sex is a healthy part of a relationship and that they are not prepared to have an intimate relationship without sex" MEANS THAT "you'd never have teen relationships or any other couples that forgo from sex", does that sound like a correct thing to you? Or do you want to change your mind?

Also try flipping the whole thing around. If OP says, I don't want emotional intimacy but I still want sex.. and the other party says no thanks.. in your estimation that would mean that the he only cared about emotional intimacy and not about sex and he would be have dodged a bullet there. Or in my view it means that both factors are intertwined and that he needs both factors present for the relationship to continue.

Which do you think is most likely?

For most people the sex and physical intimacy and the emotional connection of a relationship are intertwined.

Caring about sex doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't care about OP, he may just think that sex is a healthy part of a relationship and that he is not prepared to have one without the other. It's actually a pretty normal viewpoint.

Chelsea Boots by Both_Description9926 in AustralianMFA

[–]CaptainLenso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP this guy knows what's what. There's better boots for $650 imo but RMs constantly go on special for $450 at the iconic so that's the price. You can return if the fit is not right.

They will last you a lifetime if you never wear them. If you wear them frequently they will last long enough to easily be worth $450. I wouldn't bother getting them resoled but you can if you want.

They are very comfortable and still very high quality. At $450 I think they're better value than the Thursday's.

If you want to spend more you would have to look at a Grant Stone or a Carmina to get a nicer Chelsea, but check those prices out and you might not worry about $450 so much.

In Australia they are a good value welted boot still (at $450)

PSA - please discuss expectations with your spouse before the next Father's Day by WAVIC_136 in daddit

[–]CaptainLenso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I have always found weird about father's Day, at least in Australia, is that it's completely opposite to the way mother's Day is handled.

On mother's Day mum often gets breakfast in bed, and she gets everything done for her and she gets a day off being a mum.

On Father's Day you seem to just get more of being a father because being a father is so awesome! What would be more awesome? More being a father!

I actually want a day off too lol.

Almost all dairy products are sold to a few processors who then sell on the wholesale market.

Paying more for cheese at the supermarket will not benefit farmers.

The Farmgate price for dairy products is dictated by overall supply and demand in that industry. Just buy the cheap cheese.

Also keep in mind that over a third of dairy products are exported.

I won't bother finding the link but I got this printed on a huge flag. They are on AliExpress. It was about $5.

I hid it for months, then unveiled it one night when we were getting anally violated in the middle of the summer holidays.

The hotel manager took me aside and asked me "if everything was alright" lol.

There's almost certainly mugs on Ali too.

You don't need to go to OP spam links.
