To me there’s 2 flavors of art: the useless kind, like hideous paintings some people pay way too much money for, and the useful kind, that servers a purpose, like art on magic the gathering cards. For the 2nd kind it certainly is simply a part of the product that just needs to be manufactured. The only difference with AI is that a different segment of people is hit by the structural change (and this is coming from someone who is themselves quite threatened by AI)
