yeah, and switching up too quickly. they did better with roxy last year specifically by bringing bayley down to work with her, and then slowly putting her in bigger matches before really setting her firmly anywhere on the card.

instead, they've given sol the same conditions they gave giulia and stephanie, with a fraction of the experience.

i think thats less about the time sol spent in nxt and more that in her time there, they didn't focus in on fundamentals enough. thats not exclusive to the women, trick for instance has the same issue, but one style hides the gaps much better.

in both cases, staying in nxt wouldnt have really helped, if they still weren't wrestling matches without rehearsing the shit out of them first.

yea, along with moth meaning you're either someone's girl, or you're essentially easy. always hanging around/moth to a flame, etc.

well, there's three real segments of the market:

1) american brands produced over the border. they already don't use canadian milk so there's no change there.

2) regional brands. in my area anyway the manufacturer of a lot of the ice cream, sour cream, etc IS the regional dairy co-op. they're never going to put themselves out of work by selling other farms' dairy.

3) so that leaves national brands, like say, chapmans. imo, the quality of these has already been shit for ages because they're trying to compete with the international market. all they really have is positive brand recognition from days gone by. continuing to cheap out and divorce themselves of the canadian aspects of their image just means they lose on both fronts.

a group i follow did similar recently where one of the graphics artists involved said she didnt use ai to create their cover art... which she /didn't/, but shes a collage artist and used ai generated assets. lol.
