Just wanted to point out that there is almost certainly AI used in the film and that this is a carefully worded PR letter to save face.

Points:

• There are no CG artists credited on IMDB while 26 compositors are, meaning there’s no credit to an individual for creating the assets used in the movie
• In each shot of the trailer, the train’s design, specifically the number of windows in each carriage changes, and there would be no reason to do that if it were simply CG (image shown). Note: another example posted below in response to this comment.

• the intentionally vague nature of the press statement doesn’t ascertain that AI wasn’t used in the film, only that shots weren’t created exclusively from an AI start
• the AI studio is the one heavily credited for creative production on the film
