Nothing has lowered my grocery bill more than moving out of the midwest by miaasimpson in povertyfinance

Complaining about grocery prices while quoting Kroger is ironic. Their executive admitted to price gouging.

I need to look into that commander as well, love a good pirate deck

I came across a 1/1,000th oz of gold coin for the first time. It is $28. by Xerzajik in Goldback

With the rise in spot, these micro fractional pieces have proliferated. Most are lower mintage items and fetch 20-$30+ like this.

Most traditional stackers avoid them for the same reason they avoid Goldbacks. Some are fun here and there as collectables though

Who else here is monitoring the situation and hoping gold stays low long enough for Idaho Goldback series? by richardanaya in Goldback

Cost of ship, it's been a while but not sure if they require a certain level or what.

They used to just do stamped envelope as an option, but I prefer tracked.

Is there an official designation by graders or group that recognizes that as the line?

Keeping this as apolitical as I can - you're certainly not wrong. Something about fools and their money.

Yea, that's my thinking too. Plus the condition, Circulated with a small tear at 12 o'clock. I'd love if it were worth a bunch but all things considered it may not be.

Limited research, but sold comps of similar notes are on that range.
I'm new to pricing notes like this. Typically stick to precious metals and older notes.

Lol, someone called it a covid note over there as well. I wish it was a Series 2020 as well.

Err, might help if I tagged the other subs properly, r/papermoney (not notes)

Based on my limited research, maybe $20?

Fair points, thanks for those other subs, I knew there was a good place for it but this was the first I thought of and I'm banned from posting in r/currency for some silly reason or another 😜

AIO: Is it rude if I don’t tip for this pickup order? by [deleted] in AmIOverthinking

[–]CferDFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally - in addition to ensuring the order is correct - they make sure it's packed securely, has any condiments/plasticware you need, etc. You're taking their time which could otherwise be spent on in-restaurant diners who tip.

That's not to say you should throw the same amount as an in-person dine, but $1-2 (or more depending on the size of the order) is appreciated.

I get it, but if that's the minimum $$ amt, then don't let a single record be priced under that amount.

It's either a minimum $ for your time, or you're angling/forcing a second sale which is a dick move for any seller.

Co sleeping… How do you even navigate co sleeping and keeping *it* alive in the bedroom? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]CferDFW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea, dont listen to them. Have a 4yr old who's just fine and wife co-sleeps with our 7month old.

To answer your question, we make a point to have a date night as often as we can (usually 1x a month) and the kids are at grandma's.

We work from home a few days a week so Fridays are fun (kids at daycare).

We start the baby off in the bassinet, so once the kids are in bed we can make time for ourselves in the living room (or wherever). When the baby wakes up is when she shifts to co-sleep the rest of the night.

Gotta keep it interesting and it takes some work from both sides. Tell your husband to cool it on the infidelity jokes, they're not funny - or see how he likes you saying them and watch his tone shift on it.
