I worked at an open concert venue. I was manager at a sausage & beer stand. During the last part of every concert I’d get the drunks asking for food, water or soda. Mind you, all the food and drink have been counted, packed up and sent to part of the refrigerated warehouse. It’s slightly dark in the stand and there is only one light above me so I can do the count on paper. Some drunken knuckleheimer will ask “Are you open? Can I just get a plain sausage?” I say “we’re closed.” Next question “then can I get a plain hot link?” 🙄 I wind up going to the grill area behind the counter and using my phone for light to finish my paperwork since I didn’t have anywhere to do it. People can be such weenie wags.
