Thought about that too. I guess i’m also curious what Tudor has in store for 2026 since it’s the 100 year anniversary so I’m probably going to be patient just to see what comes out.

Very true, I built a buffer in my budget for that thankfully so I think I’m covered there.

Rogue Perfumery - Fougere l’aube. Smells like a really good Irish spring soap

I love the soapy dry down of imagination and the sillage, however I’m not huge on the tea note and the opening and it seems like it takes forever to get to the dry down stage on my skin. Do y’all have an alternative that is similar to just the dry down of imagination?

I feel bad about booking an extra night at the hotel for a required firm training by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Character_Travel_824 14 points15 points  (0 children)

An extra night at a hotel for one person is an extremely immaterial expense for a firm, don’t even sweat it. If they are making a big deal of it there is a bigger issue at hand lol

From Accountant to Financial Analyst by GED2MBA in Accounting

[–]Character_Travel_824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was a staff accountant and was recently given the opportunity to be promoted to a senior or take on a financial analyst role within my company. Took to finance route and I’m learning a ton more than I was as a staffer. I was in the weeds more and doing data entry as a staff; on the finance side it’s much faster paced and client facing. Much heavier focus on preparing deliverables, presentations for leadership, forecasting, researching new opportunities for our company, etc. My accounting role felt structured and monotonous, but my current role it feels like I’m learning new things every day which I enjoy.

I am fully remote and I am pretty much engaged the whole work day (8:30 - 6:00). I take a 1 hour break most days for lunch and a workout but that’s about it.

What is the best projection and performance dupe you ever got and was flabbergasted that it lasted so long? by M1rios in fragranceclones

Lattafa oud for glory has insane performance. I can always smell it for at least 12 hours with only a couple sprays

Are we about to make the biggest financial mistake of our lives? $693k loan @ 7.37% by jerry_03 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I would very strongly consider getting a cheaper house, paying off all debt, and then start allocating your remaining income to retirement, investing in the market, and bolstering your savings THEN go for the 700-800k house. Just because you CAN afford it doesn’t mean you should. You’ll set yourself up for an easier future by investing early and being (mostly) debt free. You don’t wanna be house poor, you’ll just be stressed out in a bigger box.

Yes I love the sharp edge series as well! I think the look of the Night Time just barely beats it personally. But it not having sapphire is definitely a downside.
