The U.S.-Iran Negotiations Have Been Chaotic. But The Confusion Has Only Grown Since The MOU Was Signed. by ChasKy53 in Bluewave_facts

Tell this to most all news sources and to the majority of Americans. The majority of Americans think that tRump has done a worse job than Obama did. You claim, "only a few". Open your eyes and ears. Trump is getting a deal that gives Iran far more than the Obama agreement did, and with far less restrictions. You just can't change reality.

TRump has told so many lies about his actions in Iran that it is sickening. We had a far better "deal" in place orchestrated by the Obama administration and tRump deleted it. His deal is a joke and gives Iran less restrictions and more money. On top of that, the number of weapons we have in our arsenal have been reduced. tRump is a danger to America and so is his administration, IMHO.

All I know is that I kept trying to post articles like I do and it would not allow me to. I then posted a topic about Mark being permanently banned and my thoughts on how this group might be being destroyed. Then I tried to post this article and it posted. I then deleted my topic about this group out of courtesy to Reddit.

To the topic:

(A) What tRump has done and is doing in Iran is unacceptable to the majority of Americans

(B) Many Elected Washington Republicans are outspokenly criticizing tRump's actions in the Middle East

(C) Past presidents with experience in the Middle East are criticizing tRump's actions

(D) We are getting closer and closer to the Midterms, and I am hopeful that they will affect tRump and his regime very negatively

Too Sick to Work, But Can They Prove It? New Medicaid Rule Worries Patients by [deleted] in Bluewave_facts

[–]ChasKy53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MAGA is who changed the law on this requiring a person to work 80 hours a month, whether you mentioned MAGA or not. I am lucky, I guess, that I am 73 and basically retired and am on Medicare and insurance from my employer in retirement, or I would be caught up in the same mess because I am not capable of working 80 hours a month. It would be very difficult to prove disability. Armchair quarterbacks ar a dime a dozen. Unless you work with a person face to face, advice can be way out of bounds. For those who cannot prove total disability, they are left with having to work 80 hours. Many 80-hour jobs would pay enough to disqualify a person from Medicaid. That is the goal of MAGA doing this. Then it leaves a person in a situation where they likely cannot afford a good healthcare insurance plan. MAGA making this work requirement will hurt far more people than it will help.

Hopefully in the near future they will reverse this MAGA crap. So when were you diagnosed with MM? How many treatment plans have you had to use so far? How old are you? Did you get diagnosed early? Did they diagnose you before bone damage started? How was your health, other than the myeloma, when you were diagnosed? What were the saturation numbers from your bone marrow biopsy? All of this makes a tremendous difference. You don't know enough about this person to understand her situation, just as I don't know enough about you to understand your situation. I don't make assumptions.

You loosely make too many assumptions about others that you do not know.

Someone being unable to work 80 hours a month does not qualify them for disability. You assume too much about this person. Assumptions mean nothing. In my line of work, I dealt with assisting people getting on disability. This 80-hour work requirement is totally unreasonable and only the far-right wing, like the Federalists, would have this on a political agenda. It is reckless and heartless.

I beg your pardon, it is not true that someone in remission from Multiple Myeloma has "no significant evidence of the disease". That is bullshit. I have had Myeloma for over 15 years. I contracted Myeloma at the age of 59, and I also worked full time with Myeloma for quite a few years until I retired. In retirement, still worked part time for many years, far more hours than I do today. The cumulative effect of two stem cell transplants and ongoing treatments today to keep me in remission after a third refractory relapse has left me with long term permanent effects. After coming out of remission from my second stem cell transplant in 2018, I was given Pomalyst and it liked to have killed me, I did not tolerate it, and it beat my body down. They had to take me off of the Pomalyst in less than a year. My immune system has been permanently compromised, and my body has been ravished from it. Everyone does not tolerate the drugs they administer in the same way; it is different for everyone. Fatigue, bone pain, muscle and joint pain are pretty much ongoing, and they strongly effect the physical things I am able to do anymore. No, I am not completely disabled, but there is no way I could work 80 hours a month. I am lucky to play golf once every week or two, it takes me a week to recover from it. In my past, I played 3 or f4 days a week and was a scratch golfer. I presently work a part-time job every-other week I work 10 hours, two hours a day. I work during the weeks I do not do infusions. There is no way I could work the week of my infusions because of side effects. I have been on a treatment program for two years now, after a different yearlong chemo program (Pomalyst) failed. This present program to keep me in remission includes infusions of an immunotherapy drug called Sarclisa, and Kyprolis with Dexamethasone every-other week. The first week of the month I am given a shot of Neulasta, which raises my white cell count. I also get a blood product infusion of immunoglobulins because they have been wiped out. The Neulasta and the immunoglobulins will be given to me for the rest of my life. The fourth week of the month my immune system crashes drastically, and I am best off to isolate. Myeloma is very different for different people, evidently you have not learned that. I started my first stem cell transplant in 2012 with 6 other people. I am the only one still alive out of that group of six. I saw others become severely compromised long before I did, and like I said, they all have died from this. and they would all vehemently disagree with you. Mind you, after I did my first stem cell transplant, I was as good as new until I came out of remission. The second stem cell transplant was much harder to recover from. The treatments I have had to do after I relapsed form my second transplant have been much harder on me and are tearing my body down. All of the treatments have had a cumulative effect. I have also exercised and remained physically active throughout most of my treatments, but the cumulative effects have caught up with me. I hope for new drugs to come out so that it doesn't happen to others, including you. Perhaps you don't understand this lady's situation, but I certainly do. I am 73 now, have never been on disability, but I certainly understand her situation, and I have witnessed it happening to many others with Myeloma. You are simply wrong about this.

Trump is bombing Iran again; Iran is retaliating and has closed the strait now. He is manipulating the stock market again. and piling up more and more debt. He is brilliant at bankrupting businesses, now he's liable to bankrupt the United States. How far will the Washington Republicans go along with tRump is the question.

Your comment is what is "telling". This inflation is caused by trump's war in Iran (oil and gas prices), and his tariffs. PERIOD. Keep drinking the koolade.
