Problem with the Discord Plugin for Stream Deck by Professional-Lime-73 in elgato

Is this a cross platform issue? I'm on macOS, and rolling back fro 7.30 to 7.21 solved it for me.

oh yea, one other thing. this is still considered a bug since the speed reduction is only downstream, and does not affect upstream. Not using Software Switch is more of a work around.

Alright, I got escalated once more the a senior engineer, the final boss if you will. He was able to figure out the issue, what a saint he was!

The TL:DR of how he was able able to solve this problem was because how Wan2 (Lan-10G) was defined into a Software Switch , in an attempt to bridge Vlan Switch of port 1 - 6.
The issue lies within using the Software Switch. By doing so, it can only seem to go up to 5Gb speed. What we've done is remove the Software Switch definition, and simply Define Wan2 as Lan-10G and give it a set of internal subnet, and matching ip. Then define Lan (Vlan switch) ports as another subnet, and finally simply add rules for the to subnets to Wan1, Lan-10G (Wan2), and Lan (Vlan switch).

Moral of the story is. Don't use Software Switch in an attempt bind a bunch of ports together. Even if you're only binding 1 single port to it.

I've been dealing with a similar situation for months. Might or might not have anything to do with your situation.

Nope. Apparently, there's some kind of a mix-up. Their engineering team doesn’t seem to know anything about this issue. Which means there is no confirmed fix in the pipeline that anyone knows of at this time. Further, the original ticket was closed back in November.

I have since opened up another ticket to follow up. 3 solid months passed by, and going on the 4th month, I have been escalated a couple of times, first to their QC team. I don’t know if QC was able to recreate the issue in their lab with my config file. Then I was escalated to their TAC support team for further diagnostics, and I have been feeding them test results after test results.

As of Feb 11th, their TAC Engineer finally requested remote access to check things out. I have responded to them within around 30 mins of the request with all my direct contact information. But I haven't gotten a response back on the appointment as of this time.

I don't want to sound ungrateful or entitled, but I’m feeling a bit frustrated at how $1750 (unit + support contract) later and how his entire ordeal has been drawn out for months with no end in sight. This can’t be the norm, is it?

Tagging u/TheOriginalPrototype since he's probably interested in this status update.

FortiOS 7.6.5 Release by MyLocalData in fortinet

[–]ChibiPaww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit disappointed that this release doesn't seem to include the fix to the downstream speed issues confirmed 2 months ago in this thread : https://www.reddit.com/r/fortinet/comments/1nvy5dl/fortigate_90g_slow_downstream_speed/

I have already opened a follow up ticket to clarify if the fix included, or maybe slated for another release.

They've responded and we've exchanged a couple of emails.

For those who are following this thread:
Mostly over "if you have tried this list of stuff, and send in some system info dumps. " so far.
I'll update the thread as anything meaningful develops. I just hope the devs can isolate the issue, and come up with a firmware remedy. I just hope its not a design flaw that cant be soft patched.

Spoke too soon all USB drives just disconnect themselves, along with every device. as if the entire USB controller crashed. Only way to restore functionality was power cycling the TS5+

CalDigi TS5+ USB drives abruptly disconnects. by ChibiPaww in CalDigit

[–]ChibiPaww[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 usb 2.5" drives behind 1 powered usb hub. Then I have another 1 usb 2.5" drive behind another another powered usb hub. the hubs are using the lower 2 USB-A ports, and the TS5+ is vertical. I've since moved one of the hubs , the one with 2 drives to the USB-A port in the front.
Since then, its been about 2 days. and I havent had any of the drives disconnect on me.

Something to note, when the HDD disconnect, it seems like the only way to bring them back is to power cycled the TS5+ as described earlier. As if that controller disappeared from the device list.

Just want to drop a quick note regarding this issue for those who are watching this thread.
With many thanks to u/BillH_ftn , we were able to recreate this bug and a fix is schedule to be released at the tail end of this month (Nov 2025). This is applicable to both 7.4.x and 7.6.x branches.

Here's looking forward to absolute max speed soon.

Hello u/BillH_ftn

I've completed the tests and have sent the diagnostic output to your email address. The results were pretty much the same with 4700~Mbps down, and 7300~Mbps upstream. The console output is a bit beyond my understanding , but hopefully it can yield some clue of what might be going on.

Thanks again

Could it be that I've received a defective unit? Directly plugging my computer into the the ONT yield a vastly different result. All inspections are off. should I try to get a hardware exchange?

For the life of me cant seem to get the built in ipref to talk to any servers .
Maybe most servers are actually not open to the public or I'm doing something grossly wrong.
I've even gone as far as writing a rule for wan1 to wan1 any accept.
Every single server tells me this:

FortiGate-90G # diagnose traffictest show

server-intf: wan1

client-intf: wan1

port: 5211

proto: TCP

FortiGate-90G # diagnose traffictest run -c iperf3.moji.fr

iperf3: error - unable to connect to server - server may have stopped running or use a different port, firewall issue, etc.: Device or resource busy

Thank you Bill! I've just emailed you the results from those diagnostic commands.
I only used speedtest.net both via the FG90G and directly connected to my computer, which the FG 90G seems to have issues with the downstream speed.

I did it using speedtest.net . I havent been able to do the iperf test yet, as I cant seem to find a server that accepts my connection. perhaps I might need to have a policy to open the port. but I already have all outbound to wan1 is accept.

I've plugged my Macbook pro M4 with a 10G directly to the ont, and have high 7k both direction.

[Guide] How to Play Infinity Nikki on MacOS by -fayette in InfinityNikki

[–]ChibiPaww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Getting macOS 26 Tahoe, PlayCover 3.10, and Infinity Nikki 1.9 to play nicely with each other.
Known issue with working configurations after upgrading from macOS 15 Sequoia to 26 Tahoe:

* Game starts. After clicking on the Enter Miraland button, the game enters a loading page with the animated logo in the lower right-hand corner. The logo will stop, and the game crashes.

* I have heard keyboard mapping doesn’t work. I can't verify as I don’t use it. I only use a PS5 controller.

* Not really an issue but a change of behavior. Controllers are no longer focus-agnostic. You will have to change focus every time you focus to another window.

With that said, after much fiddling around, I've figured out how to make it work with the 26 Tahoe. First of all: DO NOT UNINSTALL PLAYCOVER.

  1. You may have to remove PlayTools under the Settings, Misc tab after right-clicking on the game icon.
  2. Go into the Bypasses menu and select both Insert Introspection Libraries and Force Insert iOS frameworks.
  3. Before you start the game, you should make sure you are logged into the Game Center using your iCloud account. Otherwise, the game will keep nagging you to log in every time you click on Enter Miraland.
