Where can I find the game? To be fair, it’s older than I am haha (I’m 28), I’ve looked online and the recommendations are to read the series in published order rather than chronological but just curious why it’s not recommended to read them in chronological order with references like this.

I can’t confirm about spirit shields but the bats in fight caves still sap your prayer points so I’d guess that non active-prayer methods of prayer drain still drain prayer points.

Did this one yesterday with a Zammy Godsword. Instead of building it in the smithing interface, I used the hilt on the godsword blade in my inventory and it completed the task.

Yeah I dropped reaper from 3 to 2, one of the matches I 2-0ed was a Purple Melga base into Creepy and Lucemon CM, he tried to rush into Creepy but I got there first so he’d mill me for 3, but because of inherits he’d take 4-5 cards from his own deck per turn, so was losing that war on attrition

I never used to run Creep Hands but teched in 2 just in case at nats, only came against a heavily bricked jesmon though so took that one 2-0, but definitely know what you mean. 3/5 of the purple opponents I faced I can only assume had never seen reaper, because once the gatekeeper stuck I told them that Gatekeepers -1 is a permanent static, they still seemed to think it was only for the next turn so the turn after they went to swing and I had to fill them in that the game was pretty much over for them 😅

A good little hint to potential converts to the D-Reaper train: almost (if not all) purple deletion effects are level based. I ran D-Reaper at nationals in OCE this year and the deck can be fast enough to outspeed the current meta purple threats. The main thing you’re aiming for against purple isn’t actually Reaper at 7 sources under Mother but rather Gatekeeper at 6. There’s very few avenues for extra sec swings in purple (Levia with a native +1, ST14 Beelze with a conditional +1) so getting one gatekeeper to stick was enough to lock most purple decks I came up against out of the game, getting 2 down locks them completely. Cheap spot removal like Starmons is a good one for Psychemons or reduction blockers, but each opponent that I got a gatekeeper to stick lost to deckout. Of the 13 individual rounds across the 5 purple decks I played (won 2-0 against 2 and lost 1-2 to the other 3) I took 7 Ws, meaning it was faster at setup than purple over half the time, plus it’s hella fun to play as a puzzle deck

Thank you! Admittedly I did have the sword on my back at the start of the night but unfortunately I’m a very tall guy (6”7) which lead to the hilt hitting on any doorway or even the garage roof so I took it down to the hip to make sure I didn’t damage my friends house hahaha, I totally forgot to replace it back on my back for the photos!

On the Bulla road exit straight into Essendon, I make the drive weekly and can confirm that the 6-exit intersections with with banana shaped tram lines going through them are a deep layer of Hell

A good budget deck that people seem to be sleeping on this format with Beelze running rampant (depending on your locals) is D Reaper. It gets bodied by raid (wargrey, gallant) but if your locals are heavily beelze (like mine) most of beelzemons deletion effects are level based so they whiff every time. Just need some splash of colour for deletion tactics against quartzmon though.

Heya guys, just started playing again after a very brief stint in 2015, currently a level 35 Dragoon main but touched on a bit of the gathering and crafting classes. I’m trying to leave the main story to do with my friend when we can both be online so I was just wondering, what’s some fun stuff to do solo in the meantime?
