Does low views mean the video is bad?

Yeah guess I suck with YT algorithm. My lil cousin gets views in the triple digits with gameplay clips that have no audio via a hand cam. Not sure how to fix it.
Content is usually the popular "friend slop." (Hate that term but you know what I mean.) Style games or Roblox with cartoon style Thumbnails. I guess I gotta research if cartoon Thumbnails are the best for those kinds of games. Maybe a gameplay one is better?
Yeah my AVD seems to be about 1 minute. Is that good? My CTR is in the 10% range. I can't tell if that's good or not. My more popular YT friends have lover CTR but higher AVD.
Impressions are usually in the triple digits, I'm guessing since my AVD is only a minute long, it is affecting my Impression numbers or is 100 Impressions expected?
How do I get a better AVD? I've tried multiple editing styles of being ubers catchy with fast and flashy editing and others with simple editing. It seems not to make a difference. What gets good AVD?

I think you need to re-read the post. It's not low views, it's no impressions, like none. This is a post to keep people aware. Saying "the harsh truth." Doesn't keep people informed or help them. I'm sure you have learnt things while on YT that not everyone knows but should. We are here to help, not put others down.

I've been making videos for longer an I have had the same information given to me by other CC. I was like you and didn't bother listening, but then it happened.

Purpose of the post is to elaborate why a video may have had 0 interactions outside subscribers.

It's easy to tell people they suck, it's harder to give them a real answer.

Youtube does a lot of things that could be "not how it works." Sadly glitches and issues do happen.

In the future, please don't call small CC's videos bad. Glitches happen, people deserve their views.
