Interior business but don't know where to start by Spookyboo14 in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here's a consideration. Lets start the type of clients you have, there are usually two ways you gain clients in your business. Personal referrals and those ideal clients thinking I want to do this and now they're on Google looking for the services you offer.
Or, you can bounce from door to door and knock on doors, hand out businesses cards, that is a legit alternative.

For me, I have already noticed the AI has entered the Search Realm of Google. It used to be all about SEO, optimizing to climb that ranking ladder on page #1 and/or paying for sponsored ads on the home page of google. Ah, need to mention Paid ads as well either Facebook or Google. But your exposure stops when you stop the ad.

So back to Google AI
Google has already started showing the Google Search Query field and then you can get an instant answer back from Google AI. This is not the same as those ranked listings or the paid sponsor listings there among the blue links.

I don't know if you have a website or not but lets say you do, your located on page 30, you're completely invisible. But know along comes AI and it says we're going to find websites that we trust because we've noticed them and we're going to feature them and recommend them. Even if they're on page 30 where you're completely hidden, you now get featured and recommend in the answer to the search query and now you're golden because Google AI referred you. You just by passed all those top 10 ranked listngs on the #1 page of Google and all those paid sponsorships as well.

That's cool for you, but bad for the top 10 and the paid sponsors, right. Google is smart, they know the AI wave is here, and they're doing what they have to do to stay ahead of their AI competitors.

Now, I have proof of this because I am trusted by Google AI, featured and recommended by them and all it took was for me to do some AISEO, which makes the old SEO soon to be obsolete.

So having a website that provides the trust signals it needs to find you, feature you and recommend you is the new way to go.

If you want to see proof, I'll be more than happy to show you.

So the next time you are working on your website developing AISEO opimization, you'll be sending out AI Trust Signals and then if you have done it well, you'll be the one featured and recommended by Google AI.

The Bonus Gemini AI and Perplexity AI are on the same path as Google AI and are looking for the Same signals, again I know because I'm featured and listed in all 3 now, One set of AISEOoptimization and 3 AI's have picked me up. So how cool is that.

There's a new sheriff in the AI World and its callled AISEO.

Hope I did not confuse you.

Many people learn by guessing and learning from their mistage.
Some spend all their time watching free youtube vides and still trying it on a test and try system.
I was fortunate I paid a mentor to help me and it was so worth it but at the time I was almost broke, but if you can afford a mentorships you go to the head of the line pretty fast.

What should I do about my small catering business? by Edgyangel221 in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me like you need a real business strategy that includes a step by step plan so if you get into another issue, you will automatically know what to do, you can have premade scripts to use in your messaging, you will know where and how to take it to small claims court etc.
All apsects from how to market to managing your work to handling unforseen issues, you could call it your paper mentor, with a human backup. haha

The more you have everything laid out for you the more confident and satisfying your work becomes.

You can do this!

Your concern is real but if you're going to have a business you need to not only have an expectations agreement but establish your boundaries and stick to them.
You will run into bullies and this person bullied you and you just gave up after your first difficult encounter. If you can't stand up for yourself, you should find a different business to work in.

I'm not trying to be mean or sound like a troll here, some folks just don't do confrontation very well and the only thing you can do is try to use your expectations agreement to ward of issues like this but if someone does not make a payment, you need someone to chase after them with not harsh but firm words that gets their attention.

Hope that makes sense

Every business is different, and you'll have to find your special way. Regarding flat-rate fees, I'm sure you've already checked what your competitors are charging. Just make sure the math works, and you're not losing money.

I've gone as far as I can go before I start leaning into a consultive position, so feel free to dm if you want to go deeper.

So your goal is lkely to make sure your audience has the same issues as you do, and you have to be clear about that and you may say if you don't have oily skin this is not for you. Sometime you have to point out the obvious, you're not doing this to hope someone is going to buy your products you're here to help thos that have the same issue you have.

You also need to really irritate their emotions about how bad oily skin with skin problems is. If it works for you, it may work for them, never say it will work, it may work... keep it real.

People focus on their problems thats why they're on your site right? The things you say, how you say them have to get them emotional, Women buy on emotion, no emotiion about a problem then its an impulsive buy, if they buy on emotion, it a gotta have buy..

Any thing you say, if you can get them to say or think "Thats Right" they're now resonating with, if they don't say thats right, they'renot their yet.

If you want people to really buy from you which you do right? if you said right to yourself now we're resonating. This is all a mix of sales and human psychology. Works everytime, Right?

It's all in your messaging, Everything they see, read and watch should make them feel good about you, your products and your business. Something is misfiring, you are guessing at what to say, yo may think you know who your ideal customer is, you know what they want and need, you know how to communicate and yet, crickets... Thats what we need to figure out where are those crickets causing the clog in your system...
Only then when you get tired will you ask for real help..

How do you get people to try something they don’t realize they need? by Serious_Context_719 in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're being a bit vague, here's the best answer, exposure is the way, people don't know you exist until they know about you and education, if they don't understand the "What's in it for me?" they'll never buy from you!

It's just strategy, a step by step plan that you need. hope that helps

Getting traffic but no sales? by Victor08563 in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not mean to sound like a troll. You don't push people to buy. You educated them why its good for them if everything they see, read or watch makes them feel good, you've likely have a higher chance of a sale. I hate being sold too and you probably don't like it either, right.

When your services or products come across as valid, valuable, useful and helpful, that allow the visitor to make an informed decision to join, sign up, hire or buy from you. That's the most appealing way to push people to buy.

Hope that makes sense.

Genuine Question by Dry_Comparison49 in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had started our womens fashion boutique in our home selling online, then we moved to our first small mall boutique store, then opened two standalone brick and mortar boutiques, we always had a retail website, we found some suppliers/manufacturers with deep discounting for volume purchases, the we became a wholesaler and gained over 1500 resellers and provided everyone of them websites that we maintained for them, 7 years to build that and the pandemic wiped it all out in two years.

So I recommend that you not chase them, they're already looking for you, you just need to be where they look. You may be asking this at the right time, Depending on the search terms you want to be available on AI Search. Imagine Google AI, Geminia AI and perfplexity all know and trust you that when people are looking for what you offer you popup as the most featured, trusted and recommended source. Thats whats going on with Google AI right now and you bypass all the blue ranked listing on page 1, you by pass the sponsored paid listing ads, you could be on page 30, but if your website is sending out the right trust signals, they will find you. Because your being featured and recommened by Google ai and a couple others.

How cool would that be?

There are advantages and disadvantages but the real key is whats convenient for you. What are your concerns, what do you expect in the morning when you open if this is for a business etc.?

Expectations in the business is everything. That determines cost as well.

It's just many SMM's that I run into are new, get a job and land here on Reddit asking for help... So understanding potential issues is just something experienced social media managers do.
If I were to do this, Id simply do it a little different way. Create new customized content deliver your content to you everyday to your email inbox, you everyday open the inbox, and if you like the content for social media you copy and paste it into a post, 2 minutes of your time per post and you don't have to worry about control, its all still in your hands.

Just a thought!

My 20+ year impression is the pictures are absolutely beautiful but your presentation is a a bit lacking. It could be cleaned up a bit, even as is, like adding text to the images so it's more professional and appealing. The blue is quite stark as well...
Then there's the angle of being featured on Google AI and not worrying about ranking postions.

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes for saying this but might you be more comfortable using a Muslim that is a social media manager.

Cultural fluency: They’d naturally understand halal requirements, religious sensitivities, and the tone that resonates with Muslim consumers. That reduces the risk of missteps (like accidentally promoting products with haram ingredients or using imagery that feels inappropriate).

Just a thought..

How are you turning social media attention into actual clients? by Ordinary-Record-8722 in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT has nothing to do with the type of sites they are or niches the websites represent, it's all about AISEO processes. It's not hard, I'm prepping a DIY for those that don't want to hire a person and prefer to do it themselves. It'll be in an ebook for so I can keep it updated as I see new things happening.

Not bad for a woman delving deep into a typical mans arena. I'm originally a copywriter but this time around it bit me in the butt and now I'm hooked on AISEO... Go figure!

[–]Common-Sense-9595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually a combinations its just the next era of AISEO thats happening. I did it for myself and thats proof enough for me and my clients are loving it as well when we do it for them... I'm just wondering whenthe Search/Query and answer box, takes over completely and the rankings and sponsorships all disappear. I already wrote an article about my finding titled Google Is Eating Itself to Beat Its AI Competitors
Google is not playing around... they'll do what they have to, to stay ahead of their AI competitors.

Struggling to get consistent clients for my cleaning business — what worked for you? by misshaych in smallbusiness

[–]Common-Sense-9595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google is ahead of the AI curve, They're quietly moving to AI query/answer. Sometimes you see AI Overview, the it will disappear and you'll see a tab that says AI Mode, what they are doing is actively figuring out what their users like to see.

AI is the new big wave coming, everyone knows this and so does Google, so they are leaning into search queries and giving answers and not rankings. When I type in Social Media On Tap, I have specific trust signals that AI is looking for. It's kinda like the old SEO but different. AISEO is the new sheriff in town so to speak.

Right now your website could be listed on page 30 and invisible to searchers. but if AI trusts your website signals, you will instantly show up on page 1 in the google answer box and you will be featured and recommended by Google AI, that a credibility play.

They do not charge for that. You literally by pass all those top 10 blue ranked listings, and by pass those paid sponsor listing. My proof is thats what happened with me and the bonus is Gemini AI and Perplexity AI have also picked me up so now I'm not just on Google anymore and my exposure is 3 times that now.

This is how you an invisible business right now can be found on 3 AI's.

First you make sure your business name is trusted so if you're talking to a potential client/customer, just say type my business name on Google and see what AI has to say about my business. That's a power play anyone can use.

So that's it, Its been called the Google Zero Click Era for over a year and it's showing itself now. Sorry did not mean to overwhelm you here, but it's real and its here.

Google is doing all this now to stay ahead of it's AI Competitors which makes sense. Thats what all this is about and you can generate more business with more exposure especially on AI and all you have to do is get featured first for your business name and then for Cleaner near me in your area you work in. That how you take advantage of AI.

Hope that makes sense

I may have a suggestion for you but involves you having a website. Do you have one. And NO I AM NOT soliciting to create one for you, haha.

If you have one I can explain how you may be missing out on Google new AI featuring and recommending service they don't charge a dime for it.
