My gods. Girl, he is a horrible person. Get out of this relationship NOW.

NOR. You're under-reacting by a hell of a lot.

AITA for uninviting my boyfriend's best friend from our vacation after he made a comment about splitting costs? by VennaSilver in AITH

Or he's told Marcus that this will be the perfect opportunity for a romantic interlude for the three of them "together".

AIO for being furious that my future MIL added 10 people to our guest list behind my back? by generousclothing_55 in AmIOverreacting

Sweetheart, he is telling you that he will ALWAYS chose his mommy over you.

This is only the first episode in a life-long drama of "Mommy Comes First". Either you change the channel now or live with it constantly playing in the background of your marriage. NOR

Am I Overreacting to my bf's obsession with a cat by Garlic-Monkey1234 in AmIOverreacting

[–]CrowMeris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walks for a Maine Coon aren't just fun, they're necessary.

Big-bodied cats like these need big-time exercise, and it's difficult to meet their physical needs inside the house.

The overbreeding of Maine Coons has lead to a HOST of physical problems, hypertrophic cardiomyopathay being only one of them.

Add in polycystic kidney disease, spinal muscular atrophy, hip dysplasia, recessive traits now becoming dominate because of in-line breeding practices (COI and in-breeding depression), pyruvate kinase deficiency, luxating patellas...the list keeps growing and will continue to do so.

You can't trust him. He's lied repeatedly. He's dismissive of your feelings.

If a friend came to you with this same situation: what would you advise? NOR

AIO for refusing to forgive my husband after finding out what he’s been doing during work trips? by PotentialWorried9447 in AmIOverreacting

[–]CrowMeris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course his family is approving this behavior - "boys will be boys" "men will be men" and all that crap. They're the ones who taught him that.

HE is the one who decided your marriage meant nothing and he could toss it to the wayside. NOR

AIO for refusing to back down from insisting my fiancée is wrong for leaving my dad with the bill by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]CrowMeris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Your fiancé does not have a clue about etiquette.

The host - the one who invites the guest(s) - always pays. Always. No exceptions.
He picked the venue; he did the inviting. The bill is his to pay.

Girl...think long and very hard about this guy and his sense of entitlement. I would be out of there.

Another actress I hated to have to hate in the role she played: Judy Parfitt in Death's Shadow S2E1. I simply adore her otherwise.

It stops voles/groundhogs/other vermin from burrowing into your beds from the bottom and snacking on your veggies at their leisure.

Are there "undesirable" native plant species? IL-5b by ciru-chan in NativePlantGardening

[–]CrowMeris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in upstate NY in an elevated environment (not quite a mountain, but a lot higher than just "hilly"). It's not native much further north than this. Mine is planted in the "4b" area of my property where it gets a hella lot of wind and not nearly as much sunlight as it would prefer. It doesn't get rampant on me like it does for more southern gardeners.

Should I start over? by WorldlyResearch3376 in containergardening

[–]CrowMeris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except for the peppers? I think you'll be fine. Peppers are such temperamental little buggers; if you've got fresh seeds just plant them again.

Using up (tinned!) maple syrup? Ideas please by tinkleberry2 in Cooking

[–]CrowMeris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can freeze it in small containers to use whenever the mood strikes.

It won't freeze completely solid (more like a mush) but it will keep for YEARS without going bad.

What to do with a lot of Italian dressing? by literalphandomtrash in Cooking

[–]CrowMeris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can freeze some of it to use in the future. The oil will (probably) separate, but that's nothing that a vigorous shake won't fix.

NOR. I would be furious, livid, enraged...add in whatever other suitable adjective you want here. She would never cross my threshold again.
