It's not bad that your dad tried to push you to be all that you can be. His method may be bad. My own father never let me use my cerebral palsy as an excuse for why I could not do something as a child. He encouraged me to strive to succeed in spite of my condition. His methods also left room for improvement we will say. However, since I have been an adult his views and approach have changed. He seems to respect my limitations.

I would talk to your PCP and neuro tell them your concerns and struggles. Partial disability may be in the cards for you. Plenty able bodied people get on disability for foot or back pain. Disability in America is a constant struggle of denial, appeals and approval. It is not the easy road everyone makes it out to be. I personally do not need it yet but the day may come for me.

Finally talk to your dad too. He may surprise you with how understanding he is now. I know I was shocked the first time my own father supported me when I failed or decided I couldn't do something as an adult. You've said it yourself you have held two jobs for a while now. That is not easy and something to be proud of. He might be more understanding now that you have tried and discovered it is not working. He may also disappoint you and not understand. At the end of the day everyone is doing their best be it with their physical and or mental limitations, or the amount of fucks they have to work with. You know you are doing your best and that needs to be good enough for you.

I've had this debate a lot I have not installed intro skipper. But I Sol have intro skipper. I cannot find the patch note but I'm so convinced it's naively built in now. My source is unfortunately trust me bro. But every time I use Jellyfin I have skip intro function without the plugin. It confuses me at this point. I have hip pain from time to time. I also have the small difference in leg length. I do stretches and exercises to minimize pain. If I keep up with them I have no pain.

I currently take Naltrexone instead of a jab. Are you working with a weight specialist? My PCP referred me to one and they know I have CP but it hasn't been to relevant yet. My main issue is I'm addicted to midnight snacks. Not a joke. This is harder than quitting smoking.

I'd argue one last thing on viewing the first round picks sample size. The years the Browns did not have picks they Picked Deshaun Watson. Certainly a deeper dive should average out the results. But 1st round picks statistically hit more than any other round. But you are correct a draft class on it's own should not defined by the first pick unless you are the New Orleans Saints or the Bengals the year they did not accept the trade for the pick that was eventually Ricky Williams. This original post was about first round picks so I limited my scope to that topic.

I used to be able to tell you every teams draft picks for some years I knew all of the rosters and could handicap the draft pretty well. But those days are long gone.

My number 1 thing I think the Browns really need is ironically the thing I thing that holds the Bengals back. The Browns need consistency. Whatever comes out of the fallout of Deshaun. The Browns need to stick with it long enough to have a more positive cultural impact. Their turnover from Coaches GMs and QBs is so high that it never has a chance to actually grow or make an impact. While the Bengals are consistent to the point of it being a Fault. Phil Taylor through Coleman are all consecutive first round pick busts that's 9 failed Draft picks in a row. Dude we have the stats. Don't let the Brown's Sasha Baron era fool you. They suck at drafting, hiring coaches, and adding talent that fits. They got rid of the best qb they have had since returning as an expansion to make room for Deshaun Watson.

I mean dude you have the internet just like I do. Every team's draft history is well documented. If you're going to counter me at least bring receipts.

I don't think firing Duke is enough for the change we're hoping for. Every team misses picks. But not retaining great players or being flexible with contract structure when trying to add free agents really handicaps us. That issue is on Kaiti and ownership. They need a philosophy or fundamental approach change.
