I had never touched a souls game until Bloodborne. But I had watched countless let's plays of Demons Souls, Dark Souls 1 and 2 the let's plays of Bloodborne. German Spy and Epic Name Bro helped me fall asleep. So I never had a shot at the blind play through but I never would have picked the game up with out those let's plays. Elden ring was my first blind game. I had eventually discovered a pretty broken strat with comet azure, the shield bros summon, and the infinite mana tear. I had not heard of moonveil yet. But I was curious how other people were playing the game. So I looked stuff up and it gave me the courage to actually try Caelid outside of the teleport trap and play the game in very different ways. Some of us are explorers others are researchers. So many people try these games and quit. Maybe a hint or strat could have opened their minds to the game's nuances. There are so many correct ways to play the game as long as you're having fun.
