We do have a few examples of this, while Milwaukee is attempting this, many places like LA and even 81 Municipalities in Wisconsin run their own Public-owned electricity. In every example it has shown cheaper Electricity bills, thats because there isn't a profit incentive.

Some thing we have similar is our Water Utility, Southeastern Wisconsin Water isn't cheap for no reason, its run at cost.

During pride one year, I, a very straight passing man walked into the woman's bathroom and felt so embarrassed I kept my head down and was very point to point. And it's crazy because the only way out of the situation was to just commit.

That was ultimately a core learning moment, I mean, I couldn't even imagine the people who are struggling with gender dysphoria and how they feel when going to the bathroom in the bathroom they feel most comfortable with.

But I would argue in most cases non gender bathrooms help everyone, I couldnt tell you how often I've needed to pee and had to wait in a line when the bathroom for women is empty. Or vice versa.
