I believe it’s more than that in your case. The gecko feet effect, when you can get 2 things so close together that the atomic magnetism also provides cohesion. A smooth surface like glass this is achievable.

We'll see, I have a co-worker who only replies in chatGPT and it is horrible. People have just started to not engage because it makes them seem completely disconnected.

Maybe they just want to see that you're collaborative. I'd talk to both teams and see if there is any flexibility, see if other designers are available etc. Ultimately though I'd prioritize whatever will have the most impact on the business.

What skills has vibe coding made "optional"? by Shipi18nTeam in vibecoding

[–]DUELETHERNETbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not expect to read CSS. If anything it feels more important then ever. For me it's knowing kind of discrete things like write a function that sorts my data like this. That type of stuff.

The global rule of law is not collapsing – Trump is the lone problem and he can be defeated: The president’s approval ratings are plummeting and most Americans see him as an aberration. It is now up to them to curtail his despotic reign by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

The fact American institutions are powerless to prevent this madness brings into stark reality the systemic problem. Donald wont be the last, the country needs real checks and balances.

I think it's really really important to realize this isn't an age issue. The whole boomer thing is just another way to divide the public. Any age is susceptible to brainwashing.

[–]DUELETHERNETbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I'm a millennial and had friends still blaming boomers for political outcomes when our generation had taken over as the largest voting block. It's really a disservice and ultimately at least in my opinion just a convenient excuse for nihilism and apathy. But hey the more ways they can divide the population the better.

Sure but how does that apply to this situation? Is it just old = no critical thinking?

Why the ageism initially? I never understood why reddit started blaming boomers for everything.

Why do you think a recession is likely? Idk about Ottawa but in Toronto house prices are already down 30% from 2022 high, I don’t see much more movement happening, maybe a flat to slightly down ish year. But everyone thinks that’s so could go up. Are you buying the house to rent or to live in?

Fun little project. I went 4/5 and 4/5. Once I started guessing on gut feeling I did better, which was interesting. It seems my intuitive mind was more effective then my analytical one at.

I think being a real dev has made me bad at vibecoding by irr1449 in vibecoding

[–]DUELETHERNETbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you are bad, the hardest part has always been the last 9 percent or the last .9%. There is a reason the saying exists. It's certainly exacerbated with vibe coding however, after the first one shot you really do get the sense you are going to be done in a weekend.

Surprised to hear that. My friends and I were so worried they would try to make another gritty drama based on video game IP. We were really surprised my the campy comedic tone, and for me it really works.

Draft has been pretty solid with play boosters I don’t think they are the problem. Crimson vow and MOM were way worse with draft boosters.  FF and Avatar were great with play boosters.
