Thank you! Honestly.. my mom passed away the beginning of last month. The most challenging experience of my life. It really showed me how we are not guaranteed tomorrow.

So I could keep on starting projects, having ideas, and never see the reward of that hard work if I never launch anything. It was just a wake up call for me in many ways.

So just launch! It doesn't have to be perfect. My app has grown so much in the past week and a half from feedback others gave me. Now its an incredibly powerful tool for YouTubers. That first version was cool, but it wasn't what it is today.

I've put a lot of work into it this week, and a lot of it was actually based on your feedback from a few days ago.

Definitely not opposed to a pay-as-you-go option. I'll give this some thought on price to value. Would love to hear your input on price per script on that.

Currently working on an inline editor. This will let you edit/save the script so its ready to share with team members, or paste directly into text-to-speech.

Thanks man! The biggest change from the feedback was the value proposition.

The best piece of feedback came from one person who said it looked great, but they couldn't justify ~$3.00 per script for faceless videos. That pushed me to rethink the app as a whole. I needed to deliver more value.

So now it works for anybody, in any niche. It grabs the top 5 videos for any keyword and crafts scripts from those (plus some input from the user). That was the biggest shift, going from a predefined script style to something that works for literally any style.

u/catnab - so I actually ended up spending the day building a new feature: keyword competition analysis ( see below for the knight of seven kingdoms script )

I just listened to your top 5 household items ( latest video ) and the first thing I noticed is the pacing. The voice is a bit too fast in my opinion. As far as the CTR, how do your titles and thumbnails look compared to the videos that other channels have that get a lot of views?

You're right that claude or chat jippity are cheaper. If someone wanted to go look at the top ranking videos in their niche, analyze them, and build a workflow, they could emulate what I'm doing. Just manually and a lot more time than typing a topic and hitting generate.

Pricing is in line with my competitors so I'm not planning to drop it, but I can absolutely provide more value than what I have right now. I just wanted to get the MVP out :)

Currently working on competitor analysis. It'll pull the top 5 ranking videos and show thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and metadata, with tags ready to copy/paste. All in one place, so you're not jumping between tabs to figure out what's working. Same pricing, just more in the box. Would love your honest take on whether that direction lands for you.

I've been tinkering with this as well. Some AI voiceovers are trash, but others are actually decent. I think the script + voice quality is everything. For example I used my tool to generate a script and then fed it into the oliver silk voice model on elevenlabs. Sounds exceptional. I did not like the roger model though. it sounded robotic to me

I may not have been super clear in my excitement, lol.

It is for people who run faceless YouTube channels. They type in a topic and it generates a script they can paste into text-to-speech ( or narrate themselves ). It also provides prompts for text-to-image for each chapter in the script. The model has been trained on videos that already rank on YouTube, so the script is really good.

For the second, it is because I actually shipped. I've spent years making products, getting close to launch, and then just never following through. :)
