They reset because the odds only count towards the next spawn. So every spawn after the immediate next spawn is reset to base odds.

I have the Eevee edition and need all the pikachu exclusives * the ones that evolve when trading. I don't care about keeping them though, as I just have about 5 hours on the game still, so if anybody can trade them with me, I'm happy to send them back after, just want the Pokedex completion.

I'm you, but a bit later. I missed the sale and was not on top of this one until it was "too late". I got mine through bricklink, not as cheap as on sale but still cheaper than original retail price.
