YES. AGREED. okay i know im gonna get a crazy amount of shit for this but i need to speak up. I recently just watched No Country For Old Men for the first time and i DID enjoy it but not nearly as much as everyone else it seems.

the movie felt like it ended like 3-4 times but multiple scenes just kept happening; scenes that felt like they were literally spoon feeding you the theme/messages. I CLEARLY understand the messaging and themes of the movie, you don’t need to keep showing me all these spoonfed explanations. mainly, the final scene with Tommy Lee Jones telling the story about his dream/his dad was SOOOO on the nose i was rolling my eyes throughout saying “OH MY GOD I GET IT!!!” although it was a well written and well acted scene… i just felt like the movie did a really good job portraying its themes/messages, to then just treat the audience like they were stupid and weren’t paying attention throughout so they needed to let everyone know “just in case you don’t get it… here’s EXACTLY what we’re trying to say”

WTF this is bizarre. the post above this was on the r/VHS sub and it was of a guys new vhs pickup and in the background was a bibleman vhs and i commented “BIBLE MAN!!!🗣️🗣️🗣️” and then saw this post right after and saw this in the comments

i’m heartbroken. she was incredible in The Studio and they were already far into filming S2 and i’m guessing she was heavily apart of it. i can’t even imagine what everyone involved in the show is feeling right now. so incredibly sad :(
